Yes, Kai seems light on first impression but watching how he described the mv and thought process behind his Vanilla visual I was like this man is thinking on a deeper level.

@@MilkshakeCowboy Well, all EXO are culturally educated and know what they mean: they understand genres, history of music, they are fashion icons, so one can assume they're all deep, just listening to their music, lyrics they write and their fashion choices in every day life. Kai goes to museums and galleries when he travels, even on a tour. EXO are exposed to so many cultures in their work, so of course, they learn and analyze, and then we see their product as the synthesis of all their knowledge. The deeper you go into EXO's art, the more you see culture, they actually know what they intend to make, and this shows.

If he were under another agency he’d be getting producer credits for his work on peaches and visual/creative director credits for everything else. Just like how he should’ve been getting choreographer credits for the majority of exo’s performances but he never did

You are so so so right. I say this to people who ask why i like K-Pop and i will say to them "you know how everyone (in the West) always says like oh they don't do it like Michael Jackson/90s pop anymore where everyone was dancing and had vocals and wild stage production and actual money/creativity in the music videos" and i'm just like "That's literally what K-Pop is!" Like the K-Pop industry is still an industry and that has it's downsides, but at the end of the day, they generally still understand that the number 1 priority is the music/dance/vocal/rap/production/MVs having to be TOP TIER and that that is what generates real fandom (and thus, profits). Western music industry isn't wrong to want music to go viral on TikTok or wherever, but they don't put enough focus on letting the artists create their art and making sure it has the backing it needs to really be great.

Exactly! I was actually shocked when I heard that it's hard for taller dancers to look graceful, as they have longer limbs and more work to do. Shorter dancers do look smoother. But Kai and Bada Lee overcame this 👏

Couldn't agree with you more. I also think his outstanding dance skills are rooted in learning the technique first. He knows all the angles and lines since the most sensitive age for proper posture and correct moves to be 'installed' at the subconscious level. Not undermining his hard work though, he's put thousands of hours into perfecting his god sent talent. But really, ballet dancers don't have the swag of a street style dancer, while street style dancers can't match the classic technique. Kai's execution is always on a different level.
