The Von Erich family is an American professional wrestling family from Texas. In this video, we visit a former home once owned by the matriarch of the family, Doris Adkisson. We also made a return visit to the Von Erich gravesite.

Thank you so much for this video. I am a Von Erich fan and forever will be!!!! Kerry is my favorite, but I loved them all. I'm so happy to have been a part of the wrestling world of The Von Erichs. I met Kerry in 83 before a wrestling match in my town Marshall Texas. He was so sweet and I cried the entire time, smiling through tears for our pictures he took with me. That was the mom house. The other house that fritz had built was in Denton.. The ranch has since been divided into many sections... I got the pleasure of knowing them. Thank u for this ❤ Sweetest family ever, they are deeply missed.❤

My Mom, sister and brother lived in Lake Dallas when the Von Erichs lived there. My brother went to school with the 2 younger brothers.

I still haven't seen The Iron Claw, maybe because it brings back so much sad history of The Von Erich. They were my childhood heros

Kevin has said in past interviews that no one lived nearby the home they grew up in as kids. He said they grew up as each others best friends because of it. Lake Dallas adjoined one side of their property, and Kev said it was a shack his Dad added onto over time. One of the boys may have lived there. Beautiful place too.

I saw The Iron Claw, it was such a very sad movie, I'm glad Kevin is still alive and doing well. My husband isn't a wrestling fan, I've been watching it since 1966 when I was 8 years old with my grandparents, but my husband watched the movie with me and he shook his head and said how can a parent try and force their kids to be something they don't want to be, he was talking about Mike and his band. A few years ago, Bret Hart mentioned a conversation he had with his dad, and Stu told all of his boys, if you want to be wrestlers, great I'll train you, but, you need to do what makes you happy, don't live your lives for me, you have to be happy in whatever you do, Fritz was wrong, his son's had their own dreams but they didn't want to disappoint Fritz, this is your life, be happy then Bret said we all became wrestlers because we loved the sport, our sisters married wrestlers, we did what made us happy just like my dad told us to do.

The movie was not 100% accurate so your husband needs to realize this. Kevin even elaborated he was not fond of how they portrayed his father and that his dad was not like that and a good man. Does he believe a Movie that was based on the family, but not accurate or what Kevin an actual Adkissan says I believe Kevin and his brothers were each responsible for their deaths not Fritz. Fritz did not pull the trigger or get them hooked on dope and drugs they made those choices and it was drugs that got in the way like they do in thousands of people. People always love to blame somebody though and place blame on them. If you want to place blame then put it on who is the real culprit and his name is Satan those boys fame introduced them to drugs and it was drugs and Satan's demons that brought on the thoughts of suicide.

The Von Erichs were such heroes to young kids in the 80"s and it's hard to square seeing such simple gravesites for them. Maybe the family wanted it that way.

THE VON ERICHS WERE NOT ROLE MODELS THEY WERE DRUG ADDICTS AND NO FATHER SHOULD WANT THERE KIDS GROWING UP LIKE THEM UNLESS YOUR INTO DRUGS YOURSELF. THE VON ERICHS WERE A HUGE SIGN SAYING "DONT DO DRUGS " THEY HAS EVERYTHING GOD COULD GIVE ANYONE AND THEY SOIT IN GODS FACE.

To my knowledge the Admissions never lived on swiss avenue. They lived in Lake Dallas or Chandler Texas but never Swiss Ave

There house was here in shady shores. The property where Kerry committed suicide. It's now a school. But Kevin's house is still there he lived quarter mile down. I dated Kristen his oldest daughter in high school

that one home was not their home, Doris lived there for a time but the boys did not, and the person who owns the home had stated he would allow fans to see the block of cement with their hand prints yet he sat on his couch and just stared at a small group who stopped by to pay respect to the hand print. such a shame, that cement block should be placed out at the cemetery.

Jacky is just down the hill buried beside his Uncle David Smith. My brother David died at 15 from a brain tumor in 1958. When Jacky died so unexpectedly they buried him next to his Uncle so he would not be alone. He was only 6. Our parents are also there. I am Doris’’ youngest sister, Jan.

Jack Jr.passedwhen they lived in A different StateIbelieve they were living in Niagara Falls New York when Fritz was still Traveling at the time They brought him back to Texas Jack Jr. is buried in A different Cemetery I guess he passed before Fritz bought that property in Lake Dallas

with all due respect, your title is wrong and you're only doing it to grab viewers which is as bad as that guy telling you not to film. I grew up a block away and knew the moment you were on Swiss you weren't at the Von Erich house. The title should read - Doirs Von Erichs house or take your little self out to Lake Dallas and film the real Von Erich house. Doris & Fritz first house was actually on Mt Auburn St just to the road from Swiss.

You telling them 5mins into the video doesn't change the fact you are misleading people in the title. We both know as adults that you misleading people on purpose - so please stop trying to defend yourself. The Von Erichs NEVER lived there You can easily delete my comment and block me so no one else knows what you did here but you will never forget that I know and called you out on it. Swiss Ave is the home of a famous TV home. There's a house on it that served as the interiors for the first 5 episodes of the hit series "DALLAS"! You should have told the male lawn care Karen to mind his own business, that you were in public and to go away.
