Former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe has died after being shot in the western city of Nara. He was 67. Mr Abe was Japan's longest-serving prime minister. The country's current leader Fumio Kishida said he is lost for words. Mr Kishida expressed great respect for the legacy Mr Abe left behind. Condolences have poured in from around the world. Singapore's leaders have expressed their deepest condolences to the family of Mr Abe and the people of Japan.
