I left the Mormon church when I was a teen in the 90s. Became an atheist until April 2023 when I had a surreal experience. Bought an easy to read Bible and started reading the New Testament. I'm now a Christian and saved by Jesus, my Lord and Savior. I think many Mormons become atheist or New Age once they leave the LDS church. We need to pray for them.

Such a battle not to go atheist when you’ve been told your whole life Mormonism was the one true church and then realize how many full and half truths you had been fed for so long. So glad you made it out and then to true Christianity!

My husband’s father came from an enormously large Mormon family, but his father (recently passed away) turned into an atheist when his father died when he was just 16 years old. When I first met my husband, we used to attend some of his family reunions and he couldn’t even keep track of all of his cousins. I can’t even imagine how many second, third and likely fourth cousins he has now, since they get married so young. It’s sad that my husband was not able to penetrate the ice cold heart of his father when it came to the name of Jesus. His Dad must have had so many LDS church heart wounds buried deep down inside.. We can only pray that somewhere between that stage of life and death, the Lord made himself known to my FIL. We just don’t know. 😢 My husband is the only one (at least that we are aware of) from his family that felt the pull of the Holy Spirit on his life about 5 years after the Lord made Himself known to me 11 years ago. God works in unimaginable ways and as long as an “unbelieving” loved one is breathing, there is hope for them in Christ Jesus.

I moved to the West Coast recently and I felt so much shame for not being as bold in my faith as it pertains to sharing the Gospel of Jesus as my Mormon brothers do here. Their dedication to their message should inspire Christians to be even more dedicated because of the hope and grace it brings to the world.

Without having her son come to Jesus, it is very possible she would have never come to Jesus. We all live in a bubble -Mormons more so than others. -I call that the "Sweet Baby Jesus" moment. I used to live in Utah and I shared Jesus with many Mormons. Sadly, none of them wanted to hear what I had to say. Same thing with Jehovah's Witnesses. JWs have been taught that Christians pray to Satan, so they won't even let you pray for them, with them, etc. But yes, we need to share our faith with others . . . even if it does not seem to have had any effect, the Holy Spirit will work on their hearts. Our job is to share Christ and trust the Holy Spirit to do His work in their hearts.

I am so happy there are more ex-Mormon folks speaking out about the dangers of Mormonism. I was born and raised LDS and left it over ten years ago and am ONLY NOW understanding how pernicious the doctrine can be and how much it kept me from the pure love of Jesus for most of my life. Jesus has been patient with me and has been showing me how the Jesus of the Mormons is a false messiah. Mormons think they have an exclusive relationship with Jesus (who they rarely refer to as "Jesus" and refer to him as "the Christ") and think they have a monopoly on truth, so it could be difficult for them to be open to experiencing the true Messiah of the Bible. Her insight from Matthew 15:19 and the essence of Mormon "testimonies" is brilliant, and was one of the components of Mormonism that kept me trapped for years. Thank you for this channel!!! I truly enjoy it.

@@j96569true I was introduced to Mormonism through my father and we’re indigenous so the racism against dark skin and the polygamy (but they didn’t believe that and didn’t practice it where we are from but they believed in President Neilson? who practices that) and the books from Mormonism never stood right with me. But I guess Christianity always did I just didn’t want to accept it at the time (because if no one has noticed the New Age is really bashing the bible and taking verses/scripture out of context) so I felt weird? Then tried to feel my own culture (Native Spirituality) but it kinda feels wrong and kinda feels like witchcraft (like smudging with our own picked white sage and shamanism and finding out our spiritual animals-which my father is Cree, I’m Ojibwe-and my Ojibwe uncle dismissed what the Cree even said abt my spirit animal (which is supposedly a bee that formed in smoke while I was really sick)-so I’m kinda lost there because our ancestors believed in a Great Spirit or a Great Sky Father/Creator. But I finally read a bible and was being taught what some of the scriptures meant via TikToks and I’m finally coming to an understanding of who Jesus and God are (yet I’m kinda having trouble with how the two correlate so I’d appreciate some clarification 😞🙏💗💗💗)

I also tried my best to bring them to the knowledge of THE Christ from the Bible, the Real and only one. Sometimes I remember those interactions past year. I still pray for them sometimes and wonder If my words had any impact on them. In those days I remember having sent them some Clips of testimonies from ex-mormons, now new born christians. Jesus said, in John 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” What were the works he did? Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons who are tormenting people, baptizing in his name, and preach the gospel. Well, they don’t believe in casting out demons (they say the believe on their website but most members don’t) and they pray for the sick but if the person does not get healed it was their fault or God wants them to suffer to teach them something. I think more of them are realizing their church is dead ritual , and that doesn’t inspire faith in God.

Since now being baptised in the Spirit and being born again with a new heart and new desires, to repent and trust alone in Jesus Christ (Yeshua), I can say by the Spirit of Truth, that you cannot be born again and remain in either belief system. Faith in Jesus, the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit are the only proof needed. The only true mediators between God and His creation. Both religions along with other worldly religions are corrupted by man, who is corrupted by the devil and the anti-christ spirit. We must share the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Read John and Matthew. I do like the challenge they say converted their son who converted the rest of them took which was challenging a Mormon to read the New Testament through the eyes of a child, it leaves the Mormon with 2 choices. 1. Continue to lean on all their Mormon indoctrination to justify why the Bible speaks of Grace as being completely different from what their entire religion teaches (which is not being childlike in reading) 2. Come to see how beautiful and freely given the Grace of Jesus is given and the sinful people he gave it to, then realize that is a different Jesus than all the works based system of the Mormon church is based on, which is more like an Old Testament church with temple works, etc.

When you said, about your Christian friends who didn't say anything to you about your Mormon faith, (paraphrasing) "Were you so afraid of losing our friendship that you would let us go to hell?" It was a gut punch to me. It's true. Most of us are. Finding the right way to share the Truth also means knowing what the lies are. I so appreciated what your husband said about showing kindness to the young LDS missionaries, and all that you said today about being bold to share the Truth. With God's help we will. I was seriously considering being baptized Mormon a little over a year ago and came across Dr. Lynn's video with Allie Beth Stucky and it truly ignited my search for Truth. I later came across Micah Wilder's testimony through other channels, and my husband and I are still in the process of relearning things from a Biblical lens. My husband grew up LDS, and I Catholic, and the Lord has slowly been opening both of our eyes to the deception of both religions. I was saved soon after, understanding the saving Gospel of Grace and was baptized Christian this past March! This family's testimonies are what we have recommend recently as a starting point for those close to us, and it's beautiful seeing how the Lord has worked in the Wilders' lives, and we really appreciate them in sharing their stories. 🥹 God is so so good! 🧡

Thank you so much for this testimony. Now I can finally understand my mormon friends because I never wanted to read their books to understand their point of view. Thank you so much for explaining about why polygamy was abolished (they were forced to, not because they wanted to.) Thank you so much for explaining about why they were racist against black people and how they pinned it on the bible. I was involved in eastern beliefs and the asians always claimed that Christianity is a white man's religion. But then I read for myself in Numbers that Moses married an Ethiopian! Then I read in the bible that confirms that Ethiopians back then were dark-skinned. And God defended Moses's choice. And then I read that gospel is supposed to be preached in all nations. So then I learned the asians are wrong. To say that dark-colored skin is based on sin, when dark skin can handle the sun better is so anti-reality that it robs people of their logic. You don't need science to tell you that vitiligo and albinism is a disease and defect. If having dark pigment is sin, then albinos should be blessed, but they lived a cursed life. God created all colors. It's good that people look different. It would be a boring world if everyone looked the same. What if there were only white people and white cats and white dogs and white horses and white cows? There would be a lot of skin cancer! I visited Scandinavia in the 90s and there were only white people I saw who were so blond that their hair was almost white. They were beautiful. But the climate and the cold and snow keeps their skin safe.

Thank you for your testimony! I’ve never known enough about Mormonism to have a conversation about Jesus or the Bible. I never knew they believed Jesus had to earn his place in the Godhead, I never knew they don’t believe in the Trinity 3in one. Thank you for sharing “in the beginning was the word & the word was God and the word is God & the word was God & the word became flesh.” I’ve had Mormons around me most of my married life, if I had known this testimony, I believe my conversations would have been very different. I do remember asking the missionaries about Bible verses & they would not know certain things & they didn’t want to talk about scripture, they only wanted to talk about the book of mormon & how I couldn’t understand unless I was willing to read the book of mormon & that would always be the end of our relationship. Thank you for your insights, maybe I can better serve my Mormon friends with this knowledge. I will definitely be praying in new ways. But of course nothing in the book of Acts applies directly to us because no Gentiles like us today were allowed to be saved at that time. We finally show up in Ephesians and Colossians.

@@dfkuz You should read the book of Acts more accurately. From the early days after Pentecost, the issue of Gentiles becoming members of the Church of Christ was a contentious subject. Jesus is the Paschal Sacrifice for all of humanity. John 3: 16. St. Paul makes it plain in Ephesians 2: 11-22 that there is ONE church composed of both Jews and Gentiles equally. Saul of Tarsus held a blind faith based on his rabbinic zeal for purity of his Jewish faith. But Jesus had already fulfilled that faith and caused it to become obsolete… which it still is. Thanks be to God! 🙏

@@petertherock7340 The Gentiles allowed to be saved during the Acts period were a special class of Gentile of which Cornelius of Acts 10 is the pattern. There were prophecies in the scriptures of the prophets (OT) that alluded to the inclusion of Gentiles with the chosen people when their kingdom would become a reality (like Isaiah 60:3 KJV) but we know that from Pentecost to the close of Acts was a foretaste of the New Covenant blessings. I think that the reason the Greeks were required to be water baptized but not circumcised was that if they had been circumcised they would have been converts to Judaism and then no longer of a low enough station to act as the Jews' servants in the kingdom if it had come. The other reason Gentiles were the subject of prophecy was in their role of provoking the unbelieving Jews to jealousy in hopes of converting enough Jews to tip the scales in favor of them receiving their kingdom, and that was foretold in Deuteronomy 32:21 KJV. But I stand by by my claim that those Greeks were the ONLY Gentiles allowed to be saved and join the churches in Acts. I have not found a single Gentile that was not required to obey the Jewish ordinances that Paul obediently brought back from the Jerusalem Council. The focus in the Acts period was that of fulfilling prophecy regarding the kingdom that would have materialized for them if the people had acknowledged the Messiah God had sent to them. Because not enough of Judah's leaders accepted the carpenter's son from Nazareth as their prophesied Messiah, God let the nation of Judah go their way into perdition at Acts 28:28-31. The lost sheep of the house of Israel that would have been welcomed into the kingdom (Romans 11:25) also lost out that day. Anyone saved during Acts was saved by a gospel that was "according to the scriptures," Colossians 15:1-4 KJV; those saved after Acts ended in failure were/are saved according to the revelation of the mystery (Eph 3:9) to Paul who wrote about it in Ephesians and Colossians (1:25-26 KJV), the only books of scripture written specifically to and about believers saved since the close of Acts; and our gospel is also according to the mystery in that for the first time eternal life is offered to all of mankind in the form of a free gift, Ephesians 2:8 & 9 KJV. If that had not been revealed, no one today would be able to be saved because all have been concluded together ever since: Colossians 3:11 KJV. So, two different types of Gentiles saved by two different modes of salvation - the Acts gospel had laws and works associated with it although not required for salvation but definitely being performed (Acts 21:20; Acts 15; Acts 26:20 KJV); but thanks be to God the gospel we are saved by since Acts ended is by pure grace via a gift of God in Ephesians 2: 8 & 9, eternal life that cannot be lost for any reason after we receive it by faith, Ephesians 4:30 KJV; and we that have accepted it have the forgiveness of all of our sins, Colossians 1:14 KJV (while the Acts believers were told to repent and do works to prove it and to be faithful to confess their sins so that God would be faithful to forgive them, etc. Two totally different dispensations: Mystery v. Prophecy.

@@dfkuz The totality of the New Testament debunks your private interpretation, as St. Paul makes plain in Ephesians 2: 11-22 (previously quoted). Thanks be to God! 🙏

@@petertherock7340 Why exactly do you say that? Colossians 3:11 says there are no more specific groups of people to God. Ephesians 2:11-13 says that those that were aliens and strangers from the promises and covenants made to and with the nation of Israel are now made nigh (and that's because the chosen nation(s) were let go at the end of Acts and God closed that chapter of his dealings with mankind. I'm just glad I was born after that point and not before! If anyone tries to tell me that we are still not eligible to be saved, all I need to do is recall hearing the voices of the demons that were obviously possessing me when I was a Roman Catholic and what they wanted me to do was not only remain Catholic but become a Mary apparition fanatic! I was one apparition away from complete deception but luckily I had enough brain cells to rub together to ask myself why they were talking to me and who they were. They were obviously demons so I concluded that what they wanted me to do I should not do and what they didn't want me to do (trust Christ completely for my salvation) was what I should do! I doubt that demons would go to all the trouble they obviously go to (just watch NDE's on KZfaq!) if we were not eligible to be saved apart from any association with Israel or Judah!

Born and raised LDS in Utah. I still live in Utah. I left the church at age 18, i did go back once in 2006 for about 2 weeks because of guilt. I'm going on 54 and know so many people leaving the church in droves, even as they build new temples. I do worry for my friends and family who are adamant about staying
