I love this! As an abused kid by three family members, I was so lucky to have a dog that loved me, slept at my feet under the covers at night, tried to protect me from my abusers (and sometimes got hit trying to keep them away from me), I owe her a debt and to all dogs. I took her with me when I fled from my abusers and never returned. As long as I had her I was happy and safe. She lived for ten years, the love of my life. Since then I've never NOT had a dog or four by my side. My current three dogs just naturally protect and love my daughters and husband and me and they show their love for us 24/7. They are family members 100 percent! Please, please love and care for your dog! It breaks their spirits when you just shove them into the backyard or chain them up alone. Let them into your house and love them like family. They may save your life!

Roxanne knew right away. She was like “HEY! That’s my boy! Isn’t he handsome? Get over here, I’m your mom...yes, you are my son!”

Oh my goodness- it was beyond beautiful to see how happy Sully was to see his Momma dog again! Thank you President Bush for signing into law the allowance of Service Dogs. They perform an invaluable service for and are loving and loyal companions for our Veterans and many others. Sully and his fellow service dogs all deserve great respect and gratitude! 👍🐶💜

Bush signed the act that gave us service dogs and in his old age needed one. That’s really sweet. He knew one day if he needed a service dog, he’d want one, so he gave others the same chance.

I have my own service dog her name is mousey and shes a chiaouou (the tiny dog) and boston mix. My mom brought her home from a shelter and we bonded right away. She has been a great service dog for me and I can't imagine a life without her
