Prior to the day of the rally, when SS was figuring out the logistics of securing the area, they identified that rooftop as a key vulnerability, yet nobody bothered to put any measures in place to secure it. I mean, couldn't they have done something as simple as put one of those giant fisheye mirrors on the building adjacent to it so they could at least see the slope of the building the shooter was laying on? It's a stupid solution, but it would cost next to nothing and wouldn't require them to spread their other resources out too much.

Yeah ok security bro this was not some maintenance worker in a window. This was a man with a rifle that people spotted and warned about several minutes in advance who climbed up on a building 400ft away from the former president. The secret service was moving attendees out of the way in the moments before the shots were fired but they didn't move the protectee?! C'mon now this guy can't be serious.
