Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) will embark on a nationwide protest today.
The unrest stems from the government's failure to pay the four months' worth of withheld salaries that President Bola Tinubu had approved for the four University-based unions.
The protest comes after the two-week ultimatum issued by the Joint Action Committee of the two bodies expired last week Thursday.
