With literally hundreds of guns who didn't even try to open the School Room door that they assumed was locked, egnoring calls from children who were still alive for 74 mintues. The videos of those Officers milling around wearing their vests with rifles in hand. Hope this poor excuse of an Police Officer let alone a human being never walks free. One of the darkest days in Texas law enforcement. Dozens of others should be held accountable.

Agreed two years is disgusting. However, the police department had nothing to do with the amount of time it took. Blame the broken court system that took two years to finally get a grand jury to reach a decision.

While his cowardly actions were sickening, isn’t that what we have grown to accept from law enforcement. As the son of former police officer, I was taught that officers protected lives even if it meant putting theirs in danger. When you start accepting officers shooting citizens for being afraid of cellphones or ID’s then you have to accept this type of deplorable behavior
