The video is such a good example of visual storytelling. The inciting incident, the peak action, plot twist, resolution...has it all. In three minutes. With dancing taking a good chunk of the run time. So good.

This isn't the favorite for a lot of people but I'm completely obsessed. It's so catchy and I can't get enough. I really love the entire album, everything is a little different than what they usually do and I just think it's so much fun

It's a great song and MV. I think some people just want God's Menu over and over if you know what I mean. I love that it's bright and fun. It's a bit of a throwback to Awkward Silence or Get Cool. Not quite as silly, but not completely serious either. It's perfectly Stray Kids.

The beginning is not a zombie movie reference, it's inspired by Shinning (as are many scenes later on), and Lee Know acting is like "here comes Johnny" scene.

I think it was Bang Chan who said it, maybe during Kingdom, that one thing Stray Kids excels in, is being witty. I totally agree. Not only is it fun on an auditory level, where they can be really creative with their compositions, but also with all of their concepts. And being able to make witty connections across multiple languages, english and korean, just gives it even more depth. And that obviously shows within their lyrics, ever so playful, regardless if they go hard or tame, and in their videos! All in all, this may not be my favourite title track, but it's for sure a hella fun one! The ep is a total win too!!

I've been waiting for this from SKZ! They've done full cute concepts (Awkward Silence, Get Cool etc.) but this is a perfect meld of that charming adorableness combined with the more intense vibe they're known for. This song may not be the catchiest they've released, but it certainly is the cleanest storytelling/production I've seen yet. This MV also does a great job of showcasing how SKZ never takes themselves too seriously, which is something that I've always valued and appreciated about them :) silliness

I just love the fact that Stray Kids finally had a comeback with a concept that allows I.N to be his adorable self.

The thing is, groups that are consistently great inevitably have songs that are 10/10 but still not our favorite from that particular group. This song is insane on so many levels so I love picking it apart as I listen

SONG EXPLANATION 🫶 The heart are actually virus that spread(pipi a.k.a big pink heart) skz and the reason the chicken got mad at felix because felix accidentally infected the chicken and that's why in first scene you can see fire because the virus is everywhere so changbin called the cops(bangchan)...so whoever gets affected acts irrationality (to make crime) When you pay attention to the chorus "WHY DO I KEEP GEETING ATTRACTED IM DRAW TO YOU LIKE A MAGNET I CANNOT EXPLAIN THIS REACTION THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS 143" they can't explain why their acting this way but we know the root of the problem is not stray kids themselves its the little heart monster (love) So cop kids capture them and in the last scene where I.N sings"CAN I BE THE ONE? YEA I'LL BE THE ONE" their in the heart monsters base they tried to end their daydreaming(virus) by pulling the plug. the set around them starts malfunctioning so they all put the plug back which stop the set from collapsing and then they sing this *IM GONNA LET YOU KNOW THAT IM JUST GONNA GO I'LL HOLD YOU SO I'LL NEVER LET YOU GO" basically their saying their saying they love you no matter what. As a long time kpop stan and just over a year old Stay, I somehow have enough faith on these boys to say, every comeback of Stray Kids will be their best comeback yet. These boys have exceeded all of my expectations and I don't think any other kpop group has a more well rounded discography than Stray Kids. 3Racha knows what they're doing, and I will proudly say, despite being a multistan, this 4th gen kpop group has all my heart. I wish them nothing but success and hope they someday get the recognition they deserve.

SKZ first title track "Love" concept. Fits in with the title of the 7th mini album - “'Maxident' is a compound of ‘maximum’ and ‘incident,’” Hyunjin said. “It represents how love is like a big accident that happens out of the blue.” As others have noted, the beginning contains references to Stanley Kubrick's 1980 film "The Shining" - such as the carpet, the maze, the broken door (famous for Jack Nicholson's "Here's Johnny" quote) and the general look of the hotel at the beginning. Reggarding the design of the carpet used in "The Shining". It wasn't made for Kubrick, it was probably just bought off the shelf. Its actually from a design called "Hicks' Hexagon" by David Hicks. He is one of the most outstanding interior designers of all time . He lived from 1929-1998. He designed carpets for Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. No doubt the video production would have needed permission to use it. Kubrick liked to use symbols in his set design but there are various ideas why he used this pattern: 1. It gives an unnerving, mesmerising presence 2. Fits to Kubricks symmetrical "one-point perspective" framing, and gives lengthening effect to the corridor. 3. Definition of "hex" symbolises evil 4. Kubrick had big interest in chess and war strategy. Hex boards and maps are used in those games. In the film, Danny,the child,is positioned in different places in consecutive shots, moving like a chess piece. 5. A hexagon has 6 sides, referencing Danny having psychic ability - a sixth sense. Hope that explains the carpet better!

Case 143 is in a category all on it's own, it's a favorite of mine in many ways and so, so close go dethroning Back Door as my all time favorite title. I love how Stray Kids know how to switch things up (and always at the right time, they know when to dip into a different genre and not oversaturate with the same sound back to back in a bland way) and never let their quirk diminish. No matter the genre, that's their killing point. It's always their bombastic nature that wows the most, yet it always feels new each time because of how they more maturely present it with each consecutive comeback!

SKZ never fails to amaze me. They defy all convention in their music, styling, and m/v. It really is genius. The wit in their music and flows to their concepts to a whole. It's so amazing to watch.

Case 143 is actually the first title track since Gods Menu that I actually liked very much! It is just so fun and more melodical

Honestly I love the song. My favorite title track is still probably Thunderous, but I truly appreciate how outside of their comfort zone they went with this one. The MV is probably my favorite one though, it's insanely creative and it's really telling a story. It has so many different concepts and it manges to put them all together for a cohesive end result and that is soooo impressive to me.

That one Felix & Changbin moment is actually all Changbin, the editors want you to believe it was Felix (but he was lipsyncing it lol)

Finally PD’s review! I have to say the MV production team is top notch. To have a complete narrative and story arc to match the lyric and top line is not an easy task. Thanks to SKZ’s witty lyrics, to illustrate the infatuation stage of love in a “case” story is done so well for this MV. It is so fun to watch and rewatch the MV. I’d call it a case of perfect song and MV marriage :)

I'm so glad they went with a colorful song as the title track. I've missed these type of concepts since " I AM" series like get cool and awkward silence. Even the maniac tour didn't play any colorful songs this year in the setlist. Songs like the view weren't performed live this year. I'm glad skz is at a point in their careers where they can promote colorful concepts as the title track. I'm glad to be with them since the beginning. This type of concept dosent feel new compared to other STAYS. They are my ult group because they always impress me. They are not burnt out yet. I cant wait to see what else they can do next

This is personally one of my favourite MVs from Stray Kids, the song, the MV sets, the styling all meshed for me better than their more recent MVs.

case 143 is now one of my favorite skz title tracks, it has so many catchy parts i was hooked from the start (my personal favorite parts are felix's rap followed by lee know and seungmin)

stray kids' creativity is something that really sets them apart from others and something i will always adore, like this is a love song but I never expected them to just play it safe like everyone else everything from the lyrics to the melody and the mv combined created a one of a kind comeback just like they always do I loved case 143 since first listen and maxident itself too i just really appreciate when someone does things their own way

It is really unique title track for Stray Kids, it's really good and got me hooked. SO COOOLLLL

The scene with the pink sky was actually filmed outside and then recolored, and honestly I think their outfits suited the actual outside far more than the recolored version. But man, this song just….I was so worried that I wasn’t gonna like it, but I can’t stop listening to it. It’s so catchy and playful and it has the hard hitting sections that I love, but my absolutely favorite part is the ending hook-“I’m gonna let you know, that’s I’m just gonna go!” It just hypes up the end of the song so well. That was a critique of mine for Maniac; I wanted a more bombastic finale. Gosh, the creativity and fun of this MV is off the charts, and still feels so wholly *Stray Kids.* Stray Kids can be pink and enamored and cute while still being their badass selves.

I love that even though they change the dominant genre it’s still sounds like a stray kids title song. For me personally I can only say that about a handful of groups that even when they change genres in their title tracks it’s still sounds like that group and flows perfectly with the rest of their discography.

The first scene feels like an homage to The Shining also the part where Lee Know was peeking through the cracked door reminds me of the Jack Nicholson scene where he went “Here’s Johnny!”

I'm just gonna have to say thisvsong is amazing for a title track. I love everything about is as the vocals and raps are in point as ever and Jisung is just completely wreckig me this comeback what I mean by this is he has jumped straight to being my ult wrecker (I'm not ready to have 3 ult biases in SKZ yet) and this man just does something to not only my ears when he raps but also to my eyes. I just love the way he raps as to me it's unique in a way. Also I gotta give my love to my two ult biases Felix and Hyunjin as they also did such an amazing job. The MV is everything I needed and I love the use of the colour pink aswell as it's one of my fav colours also I'm loving the story aswell and the lads did something they haven't done before and that's having a love song as the title track. Also 143 means I love you in Internet slang so this song is basically called case I love you.

Thank you. I love this video and it is so creative and how they used the move The Shinning as a theme. The carpet, hotel, the maze, are all references from the move and so is the scene with Lee Know came in between the open wood grain is a scene where the main character Johnny hammers a whole in the bathroom door with an axe and says Here is Johnny. Felix was infected first with the heart monster similar as Johnny was infected with an unknown entity. It was a great way to introduce their first love song where they don't understand the emotion and so fun to watch the m/v. But for me my favorite comeback is Oddinary and my favorite album is Oddinary. My favorite song besides Case143 is the unit song written by Dance Racha is Taste. You should watch the making of this m/v it is wild seeing how creative the video editors are. I watched an interview where Han said that Case 143 is the first song he didn't write the rap lines he did the other lyrics and the melody.

I've been a casual listener of skz since their debut but I really got drawn in because of maniac and I'm just so happy that I was fully here for this comeback specifically because I love everything (sounds, look, promotions) so much

The Lino part where he jumps from the top video to the bottom one was made out of green screening. They filmed the dance part without Lino, than they filmed the running scene at a scenario that was high and all green on the bottom, so he really jumps down some crates land and starts dancing right away. It is just so fun!! And that is what they bring to title tracks, FUN!! The songs feel like a journey. Truly the best comparison is a rollercoaster. Their title tracks feel like a rollercoaster but the smoothest rollercoaster. I especially love the chorus of this song as much as any title track of theirs.
