These days where fantastic used spectate at Surtees fence was non existent back then great for pictures, the sound and smells from these cars back then at start noise was deafening ground shook with the power happy days Thanks for uploading, these test days where free entry back then used to be 3 days duration

How I wish I was there seeing & listening to this awesome sounds of F1 cars in 1986 if only the hybrid F1 cars V6 Turbo engines would sound like this cars of the 80s

Take all hybrid stuff like the MGU-H away, use 2 turbos for the engine and then mount a straight pipe for the exhaust on the turbo charger... then you got it, big flames included 😅

Great memories of F1 at the UK's best circuit, before it was ruined for spectators by all of the extra safety fencing that is there now.

Yes I agree its been ruined by the fences and only a couple of places with a step ladder to be able to Photograph / Video at Brands these days which is a real shame..........I used to love Stirlings and they have ruined all of that section now.......Regards Barry

Best track in Uk. Silverstone was amazing many years ago, Hockenheim, Paul Ricard, Spielberg and even the track of my city, Imola. Brands Hatch is wonderful, I just would make the straight longer but I have to admit that the sound of short ratio 80's turbo era is indescribable. Even Knockhill is beautiful but a wee bit too short.
