This doesn't get ME pumped for a session of F1. The Chain and the FIA FOM intros were better than this. For a moment I thought I was listening to some Hollywood soundtrack. Don't care if it was made by Brian Tyler. It doesn't really represent F1.

The first intro is far superior to all subsequent because it's the only one with any artistic merit. The others are deeply constrained by an evident formula of showing all of the drivers in mostly reverse championship order from the previous year, showing each of their face's for a pre-set amount of time and what the hell was up with the flags that year and the numbers this year? The first intro doesn't give a crap about a formula, some drivers are shown more than once, blink and you'll miss the previous year's champ because that's not what it's about, it's about what the sport is about and this is the only one which goes any way in presenting that.

2021: Ericsson, Hulkenberg, Grosjean, Sirotkin, Hartley, Vandoorne, Magnussen are gone. of the remaining 13, Alonso, Leclerc, Sainz, Vettel, Raikkonen, Ocon, Perez, Gasly, Stroll, and Ricciardo changed teams. only Hamilton, Bottas and Verstappen are still in the same teams as they were just 3 years ago.

Whenever I watch a recording of the race, even Formula 2 races which also use the theme, I always skip past my network's talking heads trying to justify their existence with their pathetic "analysis and predictions," and as soon as I see this flash past, I know to stop, rewind slightly, and enjoy this marvellous introduction, because now the real action begins.

How is Fernando Alonso, a driver who benefitted from spying, race fixing, team orders and clear favouritism, the GOAT? He isn't, and the sooner you admit that and the fact that this man has indirectly cheated Felipe Massa out of a championship and has ruined the chance of a young star with potential to really show people what he can do in F1, the better.

They fixed up some of the foreign languages as well. The Arabic was a load of jibberish that didn't make any sense, and the Chinese showed the name of some kind of Chinese actor's name.
