This movie has it all : Action, comedy drama, romance, great music, and great acting by a perfect cast. Tom Hanks acting in this movie is unbelivable brilliant .

Even I have phased such incident and overcome it...graduated @21 worked Hard to earn...got married @32 and a sudden illness named as pots spine which made me paralyzed @ 33 underwent a life threating spine surgery....6 months bed ridden, doctors said mom n dad ur kid might not stand again on his legs... started physiotherapy took 2 years for full recovery now I can not only stand again but I can run also bought a house @ 34 in a posh locality in the financial capital of the country.. Thanks to almighty , and my wife who never believed that I can't walk again..and also mom n dad....

I missed out watching this masterpiece in the summer of 1994, it took me months later to watch it for the very first time on VHS. I consider this one of the best films of all-time and one of the best from the 1990s. And John Travolta once offered to play the role of Forrest but he turn it down to do Pulp Fiction instead. Not sure if that's accurate.

My favorites are Silence, Groundhog Day, Shrek 2, The Truman Show, Forrest Gump, and Nacho Libre

Whenever i feel i dont have what it takes to continue living, i watch this movie..it gives me hope to continue living. No matter how bleak reality is, sometimes..miracles do happen out of nowhere. Forrest is right, "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"

The "interactions" between Forrest Gump and famous people creeped me out.

My 4th favorite movie all time.

A lot of people complain at _Forrest Gump_ for winning Best Picture over _Pulp Fiction_ and _The Shawshank Redemption,_ but each of them is equally _more than worthy_ of the award.

Great movie saw it for the first time with my dad and sister in 2016and then I saw it at the onarga in 2022 I also may have seen a third time at a hospital

My opinion this will never drop bellow 5 out of 1000 film f of all times heart felt has a way to have me question many things about life to see it in a different way

I never watched this. I'm gonna watch it. I mean, Trivia Crack apparently loves this film because it pops up everywhere in my trivia question and I pretty much get it all right, for someone who has never seen it before :P
