I went to kings island amusement park a few years ago right out of Cincinnati and saw a bench there that said it was used in Forrest Gump!

Great tour of Forest Gump. My cousin’ son played one of the young boys when Forest was young. He is in the scene where the boys are riding bikes and my cousin’s son throws rocks at Forest. He is the one in the red and yellow striped shirt. My cousin was in the Marine’s in the Beaufort area and son Cole somehow managed to get a small part.

Savannah is probably the most beautiful city in the country. Charleston SC is beautiful too. My ancestors owned a plantation in Beaufort sc. And the manager letting you in to tour was awesome! That's true Southern hospitality

Use to live in Hilton Head Island and went to Savannah many times, lots to see there. Gratz on your move Jordan, house looks awesome and I'm happy for you! I think it will be a better place for jah too away from the city.

I lived in the area and was an extra in the movie . Loved the experience. I was in the scene with Lady Chablis and John Cusak at the debutante ball.

@@Caramel923 Haven't seen the movie. Moved here 10 1/2 yrs ago. Lived on E. Victory (right across from Daffin, catty-corner Grayson Stadium). Now, in Rincon. Always wanted to go to Club One to see and meet Lady Chablis; sadly, she passed away and I never got to see her.

"Forrest Gump" is one of my top 5 favorite movies! A brilliant film, beautifully made. Savannah is a gorgeous city...not surprised Zemeckis chose to shoot there. Thank you for showing us these memorable locations, Jordan!

I've watched Forrest Gump more than I can count and it's one of my favorite movies. I don't agree with Tom Hanks his beliefs or politics but I guess I overlook that and still enjoy the movie. It's just not right that they took out that park bench. that should be a monument to the movie

I’m the same, I love his movies. But they forever want to preach to you about how we are all this and that..........I just don’t pay any attention to their opinions. I just enjoy the movies. But even in movies they are trying to push a agenda, instead of just entertaining us.

The bench is now located in the Savannah History Museum. Safety reasons, because it was so popular.

Haven't had the pleasure to meet you Jordan but at least I know we've sat at the same 'original Forest Gump bench' at Paramount Studio's :))) Congrats on the new home!! p.s. keep those intercoms at the house! Love "Forest Gump", it's one of my all time favorite movies. Tom Hanks my favorite actor. He is awesome.!!! Georgia is such a beautiful place. Wish the bench was still there to see .Hope you will go back to Georgia and share all the other things. Great job !!!

Thanks Again Jordan 🇯🇴 for taking me along for the Ride. I don't know why I'm not getting the notifications like I used too, but it found me this morning. Its so cool to see the Girls Scouts birth place, Savanah is so rich in its history. Float on by for Forrest Gump for the number 9 bus.. loved that movie!! The Bench mystery continues.. 4 benches ?? Whose bench is the one.. sounds like musical seats that we played when we were kids! Beautiful Architecture there in Savanah.. Jenny's so hard on poor Forrest in the movie.. but he loves her anyway. I'm from western Canada and drove to Atlanta for a conference, went to Savannah as part of my trip, my favorite US city so far, and I've been to most states, even Hawaii, not Alaska yet. Forest Gumps bench was there then (2005). There was an image of Forrest on the bench.

Another bench is owned by Chris Christian. He was a contemporary Christian Music Artist at one time and wrote a song that Elvis recorded. He then bought and ran a movie studio. That was when he bought the bench to put in his Studio tours. He has a movie collection that is not as large as the Fisher's but it is pretty impressive. After he sold the studio, he kept the collection with him. He also has shoes from the movie.

I don't remember exactly how my mother became interested in the movie, but I do remember her buying the VHS tape all those years ago from a store in suburban Chicago called Venture. It probably took us each an entire summer to watch it from beginning to end because at first, we would fall asleep watching it 🤣!

If you ever get a chance.. I hope you can go to Hurricane Mills, TN. It's where Loretta Lynn's house is but it's also where my grandmother was raised. We love it there.

I am so thrilled to see you covering the East Coast, now. There are so many great places to explore on this side, like this location. Savannah is gorgeous and filled with history. I will miss you taking us to visit Shelley and the others and the cemetery. Those are always my favorite of your vlogs. However, East was first and I'm glad to have you closer.

Oh Jordan, this is such a awesome video! I love Forest Gump! Such a great movie. I remember my whole family going to watch this movie in the theater. We took all the kids and their girlfriends. So we all got to see it together. And then out for a great dinner. This movie was an absolute Classic!! We have a restaurant out here called 'Bubba Gumps'. Now the grandkids love this place. We used to take them all there before this virus hit. So thats 2 generations in my family that really love Forest Gump. Thank you so very much for a great, great video this morning!!.
