I love how the magic looks. The intentional weightlessness and variety of movements is really cool. It looks like traversal is pretty fun - or at least not completely monotonous - too...but I hate the running animations. It was the same way in FF15 too. It's like characters run with *extreme* force applied, but then glide across the landscape like they're barely touching the ground. The magic animations look great, so I can only assume this is deliberately so silly.

Reminds me in more ways than one of Sunset Overdrive and I had plenty of fun with that, incessant dialogue included. So long as movement and combat remains as engaging as this I think I'll enjoy it.

In marvel’s avengers game how many times can you play “and where back” mission and how many side missions are there cuz if I finish them all I can’t do anything right

This game is a great reminder that pretty graphics are not everything to make an open world feel good. I appreciate horizon forbidden west way more now.

It doesn't look as bad as the claims seem to make it sound, but it doesn't really impress me either. Open worlds being massively empty is basically par for the course sadly. Rare to find an open world game where there is actually stuff in the world. Combat looks like it has options, but just from a glance I'm not sure the difference between the options is that impactful. It just looks pretty meh.

If they changed the main character to someone more appealing to the mass, the game probably wouldn't have failed.

maybe if i was 20 years old again i would enjoy every minute of this game i think my time as a gamer is over there is not a game that can bring me the joy again

The game and the power/magic looks cool. But the world feels... lifeless. Either in color and/or in monsters, animals and humanoids. Maybe it's only the part the video shows. I would also like the option of a male MC but it seems there isn't... too bad.

The world is actually beautiful and the magic is great But it's so empty, they made such an massive open world but make it so dead that the only thing that made you go traveling the world is to go to destination, there's no sense of exploring since everything is so empty in games like RDR2, you could just go to random direction and you will encounter a random stranger with random event on this? yeah, just walk, parkour, walk, parkour, hey there's some fodder enemy, parkour, etc

The Open World, the graphics and the Gameplay have so much potential, BUT the main character is sooo unlikable and her dialogue is really bad. Missed opportunity, could have been a solid game.

It doesn't look like the most awesomest game I've ever seen, but I always appreciate Square Enix's effort to do something other than Final Fantasy, quite possibly the worst thing they've ever created. Bottom line - It's the same deal with Gotham Knights: anyone who liked the other Arkham games more than Origins hated Knights, which was made by the same devs (i think). But if you're a 'weirdo' like me and preferred Origins to the others then you're more likely to give Knights a chance. I've despised Final Fantasy for years and until I played Chrono Trigger, I just assumed Square could only make incoherent garbage. After Trigger I realized the problem wasn't Square, it was the audience. The fans. Seems they like incoherent garbage, which is why FF is still around and why valiant efforts like this IP always flounder...

Wow this games open world is terrible. It’s all copy and pasted garbage with the same exact enemies filling the entire map. Literally 12 unique enemies in this MASSIVE game. All the others are reskins. The world is filled with nothing but chest with crap materials. Any piece of gear you get is ultimately meaningless since its all the same, no unique effects. It can all be upgraded. No quest, no enemy variety, no interesting points of interest. Probably the most boring open word I’ve ever played. I can see why Luminous got liquidated.
