Walking tour around Fort De Soto Park in Florida.
Fort De Soto park consists of 1,136 acres made up of five interconnected islands (keys). These keys are home to beach plants, mangroves, wetlands, palm hammocks, hardwoods and scores of native plants. Each of these species plays a vital role in the preservation and protection of the natural environment.
Fort De Soto was named America’s Top Beach for 2009 by Trip Advisor, the world's largest online travel community. In 2005, “Dr. Beach,” named Fort De Soto the nation’s #1 Beach.

I just came across your videos when I was researching different beach towns in Florida for retirement. You do a fantastic job of capturing the time on the venues. I love that there is no music over them..just the sound of people enjoying their day.

Your videos are fantastic! What do you use to stabilize your camera while walking? Also, I’m thinking of moving to that area within the next year...what are those bugs in the grass making that noise? :) Thank you!

Hi Tara...I wish I could say that was mine. Citypedia is the site that has this and many others covering the northern panhandle and parks around the state. I too want to retire there( where else for a kiter..haha..) and wanted to see a real first person point of view on the area. Not just travelog stuff. He has many walks..sometimes they are just relaxing to watch. Some are of the bigger beaches ..and some are the small inlets bordering towns that have 'mini' beaches. So have a look and I think from what I read ..he uses a GoPro....Thanks for chiming in..and happy hunting. @@taraberg
