Fort William is a centre for climbing and hillwalking due to its location near the Ben Nevis and other Munro mountains. Fort William also well known for its nearby downhill mountain bike track from West Highland Way (Milngavie - Fort William) and the Great Glen Way (Fort William - Inverness).

My brother lived in Fort William in the early 70s, I spent some summers there growing up, very fond memories. I've been back a few times since sad to see it looking a bit run down for the amount of tourists that must pass through the area.
