I have 2019 LXS with the 2.0L with the cvt and it was 20k. While I wish I had the 7 speed for reliability it is still a good car. It's pretty quick and the only problem I've had is I've had to buy 3 gas caps and I need an o2 sensor either cleaned or replaced. I'm at 97k miles and still runs like it did when I got it. I've been thinking about getting a tune chip for it and changing the gear ratios in manual mode in the software if it's possible.

@@Michaelangelokowski cvt's aren't built for that so I wouldn't recommend it

@Boostedboy7 it was all speculation. It's almost paid off. After that, I'm going to get some things that make my day to day life easier and then save a down-payment and get a mustang. Still 30mpg highway, lower miles, more reliable, 460hp. I'll throw an h pipe on it and have an exhaust valve that comes after the h pipe where I don't have to get a muffler delete, and I can still drive it quieter.

For someone who's on low budget, Forte GT is one of the best options to have.

I test drove one a few days ago and it's pretty quick. Definitely the fastest car brand new for well under 30k. The local dealership is selling them for 24 to 25k right now. I just didn't buy one because the salesman, finance guy and the manager were all berating me to the point where I didn't want it anymore. Was going to trade my 2024 Hyundai Kona for it

​​@@JohnnyTest478I just have the 2019 lxs and you'd be surprised how peppy it can be. There's a trick with the cvt's to make it launch faster. There's some sort of power limiter from the factory at lower speeds. It's surprisingly stable at high speeds but I need new struts. I'm at 96k miles now.

Car is in normal mode, when you put the car in sport it changes the turbo protocols, still impressive for being in normal mode. Sport mode in the car is night and day.

if it's buzzing really bad in sport mode, then most likely it's sound generator that fakes sportier engine sound. I used to own 2020 model and sold it a few yeras ago, so I am not 100% sure that your issue is same as older generation model. But try this kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJt9lK-SqNzTYI0.html. Its how you remove that sound generator.

This uses a dry 7 speed vs the N Series 8 speed wet...this doesn't have launch or can have launch control because your just gonna shred the clutch packs (it has a safegaurd thats why it feel "sluggish" at the start) like u said but for everyday driving just slap it in manual mode but the trans in the Ns and K5 GT & sonata n-line is sooo much better hope they implement it to all models and get rid of the 7 speed dry dct...and you are write a tune would do a world of wonders but since this is only a "plug in play", tune it with a ecu and tcu perfect combo

@@AyaanKhan-ze9lf yes pretty much or have it in "Sport" auto if you do not want to shift urself and do not try to brake boost! Just slam on the gas. Also side note, these DCT Fortes have 3 drive modes Normal, smart, and sport. I heard that leaving it in Smart mode makes the daily driving more tolerable and it performs better over time of the drive.

Ive taken a few in my 2024 Hyundai Kona but I barely do it anymore since its not very profitable after cost of gas plus wear and tear. I only take high paying ones mostly

GTS, I think it was on level 5 or 6 but 7 is the highest it goes. 0-60 Honestly around 5,8-6.1 It depends on how much grips I get, unfortunately this kumho tires are slippery af. It couldn't even handle the stock horse power and torque, now with racechip , slips and wheel hops got worse lol.

@@user-yb2wr8go9d, with better tires easily could get in the mid 5's if you are claiming a 0-60 around high 5's to low 6's. Also, how do you like the 7 speed DCT?

@@mr.roomtempiq9884 Without any modification, dct is amazingly good but with increase in torque from racechip, its response became little dull and it jerked badly. Only use paddle shifter if you do ecu tune or installing racechip lol

My 6 speed manual does 0-6 in 6.1 so technically a little faster than 7 but hey, you're allowed to be wrong.
