1 thing i missed is the new bis range cape can get some additional stats if its charged with the sunfire dust. Not a big fan of it, charging weapons is one thing, but charging cape is just too silly lmaoo. It's still bis without the charged stats, but i'd rather they just give half the bonus as a permanent fixture or make the charge a 1 time thing. Also the sun fire runes is assumed to stack with the tome of fire, just you would use up the sun fire runes. they didnt say this but it should be assumed otherwise it makes no sense.

BiS melee prayer armor going to a new region instead of at the end of the Slug Menace quest line is a travesty.

Sae Bae suggested making the Sunfire Fanatic a ranged counterpart to the Proselyte armor, which is not a bad idea imo. An improved proselyte should come from the same place as proselyte after progressing that questline.

The quiver will mostly benifit the blowpipe. The accuracy is insane and range strength is as well, 10% more dps at jad. Would be nice if this quiver would scale higher on lower attack speed.

The Glaive concept is so cool but I don't understand why its dps needs to be so bad. I get that it's supposed to be a spec weapon, but the dragon warhammer provides a 50% damage bonus with its spec and bgs spec boosts accuracy+damage. Also, with buckler the glaive will have 55 range str, which is the same as amethyst arrows. But why? It attacks twice as slow as msb and without any damage or accuracy boost on the special attack. Well, at least the def reduction on the spec sounds really good.

In regards to the recommendation to jagex thinking long term and making defense matter, it never will when you can pray and negate all damage. If they took a rs3 approach where prayers only reduce damage taken, then possibly higher defense could come into play. Still unlikely with the mechanics of the game being faster kill = less damage taken over long periods of time

Jagex been doin a lot of stuff that reminds me of Melvor lately. Which is dope. Ranged Inferno cape sounds dope, not like I'll ever see that either lol. Tank test boss idea: it hits you for max but drops -1 damage for every +10 def through prayer. If they continue utilizing old content in the new content like they have been recently item sink wise, this game might just make it a while longer.

I’m sick of charging items. Everything these days needs ‘Charges’ or it ‘degrades’ i cba. Give us the range infernal cape with no charges. Why that glaive soo weak? Make it good so it’s worth getting. It will probably have 2 niche uses. The new prayer armour should come from slug menace quest line. These ideas are like half assed ideas man. JaGeX mods are lost. Echo Crystal - Scrap it. There’s no need for that item in ANY scenario. Glaive of Ralos - I can see this being useful in certain situations where you primarily attacked with Ranged. Zuk maybe? Olm head on final phase? Other bosses like Phantom Muspah, Zulrah, or Levithan maybe. With Muspah I honestly use ZCB and Levithan is Webweaver. I’m all for the Glaive being on the GE instead of an untradeable. I have really mixed views on Dizana’s Quiver because not only it is a best in slot Ranged cape it also provides a massive quality of life holding two different ammo slots. All my end game PvMers know how valuable even 1 inventory space is. That is game-changing with the Zaryte Crossbow. Imagine only having to click once to step on bosses in ToA, Hydra, Levithan, Muspah, even PvP. I was under the impression the “Glory” is stackable and can be redeemed for the rewards after a player reached an X-amount of Glory. More skilled players who can reach higher waves can obtain more Glory/HR and redeem the rewards faster than players who cannot reach the higher levels. But making the item accessible to all players being a direct item/stat upgrade. I agree with players saying it’s more of a charge-scape situation and definitely should offer a permanent charge option. As a reward for being an endgame player not having to babysit an item. If this is being compared to the Inferno, Infernal Cape does not require charges of any sort and imbued God capes require no charges. I also second the corruption on Crystal Armor so Gauntlet/Pickpocketting Elves can be left behind at a certain point.

Well, forced tiny teams, a less accurate SUPER hard hitting boss, and you have a potential for a tank boss. Dedicated Mage and Range DPS and a tank, I mean right now its prayers all day as well, so that boss could also just ignore the shit out of prayers.

Defense items matter in a bunch of content, they're just not meant to be BIS for fastest kills. Is that really a bad thing? Isn't that the main point of stuff like amulet of fury vs anguish, ring of suffering vs berserker, dfs vs dragon defender, justiciar helm vs nez faceguard, guardian boots vs primordial? Don't tanks still bring justiciar for bandos, phosani group, etc? If people just want to use full justiciar and dinh's bulwark more often, Jagex needs to make more group bosses where having a tank in high defence extremely viable

I hate the idea of charging a cape slot item. I'd rather they just give us 2 items, one with the first set of stats thats "easier" to get, and then a much harder challenge for the best one. Again so all players have the ability to access an upgrade if they work to improve. The runes are bad. Like "we don't play the video game" bad. Did jagex forget that the Tome of Fire exists??? We don't **use** fire runes when using these spells, especially with a Harm. So these runes would not be getting used, as Tome of Fire is 50% damage increase. I genuinely feel like some ideas the devs have could be brought to a select few members of the high level PvM community and have ideas shot down before weeks and months are spent refining them behind the scenes. 10% minimum hit... doesn't matter.. compared to a 50% damage increase. Especially if it only works when the rune is consumed, as that means a Tome of Fire cannot be used.

Too many updates in too short a span of time. Also not well thought out and DEFINITELY not focused on the integrity, or more importantly the _longevity_ of the game. Quality over quantity. As soon as Jagex came up with the scheduled updates where they'd focus on adhering to regularly scheduled updates as opposed to updating when a really good idea that makes sense is brought up, and/or when it's actually necessary, I knew the game was headed into inevitable decline. Pandering to a very small, yet loud vocal minority that come and go, don't really care about the game or its community and just complain about everything, & jump on "not having content" when they're 1,500 total lvl at best and haven't even experienced 1/4th of the games existing content. It's a shame to see my favorite game EVER by a light year stray so far from its roots and the reasons why we had a reboot in the first place. The Quiver is 5 lvls above the assembler, yet it's about 200%-400% better. The new prossy is as good as rune but with crazy prayer & the legs don't have the mage penalty. I'd go on but it's late and I really don't wanna make a wall of text. OSRS from 2019 through the lockdown period was peak RS IMO. When they announced TOA I was already like man, this stuff is just too broken, then it came out and alas it was, and the drop rates made no sense, fang and Masori quickly became worthless, while previous raids gear held its value. I've been on a break but I should play the hell out of the game while it's still at or near its peak before it crashes along with equities and crypto.
