In a nutshell they're trying to flip the island beacause the woman in the bubble (the cube queen) is trying to destroy this reality and that would cause the destruction of the multiverse. The foundation (acted by the rock) told John Jones to flip the island so all the cubes and the hole in the fake sky that the cube queen opened would be closed and they could get access to their base on the other side

@@mrgamebus no the gameplay is pretty bad, it can be fun on rare occasions but that’s only with a minimum of 6 friends… and it’s not like Fortnite players have friends.

It’s not a game for everyone, BRs are definitely a rough genre. But the lore and characters are enjoyable even without playing, and animations like this really show that
