I disagree on that last point. Epic made the right move. Fortnite should be an experience that can be enjoyed equally by all players regardless of platform. I will never side with Nintendo, ESPECIALLY on the topic of exclusivity.

Tim sweeny doesn't care about the player base or what we want, if LEGO fortnite, rocket racing and festival gove money, expand them. On the other hand, mustard and his events team, and probably everyone back then were passionate about the game and really made the players happy. Just think about it, when did Fortnite start to fall off? Vibin, we didn't know Donald's gonna leave, he added what he wanted and left. I swear Donald mustard was, and is the best one at whta he's doing. The last event he made was the robot 2.0 one, and it was crazy. After that the events turned into an advertisement of what's coming next, no storyline, no REAL events, and the worst part? Jonesy is gone, probably the character with more development in the game was scrapped into this new version that no one really cares about, we don't even know how did he get there, and that's one thing donal mustard wouldn't allow. Donald did the right thing to retire I can see it must have hurt him because his work went this high and then the higher ups just sees a way to gain money If it wasnt for his ideas and story, the project that is Fortnite BATTLE ROYAL wouldnt even be this succesful And now with this no brain higher ups and Disney breathing down their necks now...The game is just gonna go down hill little by little to the point that its not even FORTNITE anymore

see people have different opinions and genres they like. Some like festival> Some (but few) like rocket racing and i personally like lego cause I like to build and helps me chill after ranked. But still Br is the most succesful so they should stick with it until they find something better

Lego, Rocket racing and festival combined don't even get half the players as even Zero build. They got rid of live events for 3 modes that get fewer than 1 game mode or BR's players

They need to focus more on BR’s Storyline and Live Events. Even we can agree that they made the game what it became in the first place yet they want to continue with the meta verse. And even though it’s cool and all, it caused Fortnite’a identity to get lost and sometimes I can’t even recognize the game anymore.

The biggest problem with gaming industries these days is that other gaming companies want to be like eachother. Its sad too see Fortnite loosing its point and meaning of the game like live events and what makes it special I hate that there taking ideas from other games and trying to be like roblox which that will never happen because the community for roblox is super huge and they wouldn't be able to top that. There missing what really makes the heart of Fortnite and if only they followed the heart and the meaning of Fortnite success will come for them. Fortnite was so fun back in the day and its devastating too see what it has become now I wish they would listen to the community and realise that there's a bigger picture and that they need to focus what the community wants and not focusing on other gaming industries.

With all the pointless and unnecessary changes (removing rarities and having an emote censorship), it’s staring to look bleak for Fortnite, and I honestly believe this all started when they talked about making the game a metaverse experience. No one liked not wanted the metaverse to be a thing yet they still went with it? Insane. I’m starting to think Fortnite is going in a corporate direction that’s removing Fortnite’s character

Remember when everyone was hyped for the metaverse and now everyone hates it. They could have atleast worked on it more and maybe made a much bigger release with much better modes and a lot of content for these modes in Ch7. Lego Fortnite isn't even Lego the whole Lego the only things that are Lego are builds, entities and items the map itself isn't even Lego.

Did we all just suddenly forget live events still are a thing we just don’t get them more often, and also the other modes like Lego Fortnite and rocket racing will get better throughout the years as they make All these modes more enjoyable And also they WILL hire more people to work on Fortnite and maybe live events Edit I cant be the only one that thinks this but epic does do a good job of listening to the community but they are a business and they make bad decisions sometimes but when ever something bad happens the entire community hates epic games all of a sudden and I don’t mean that like 60 to 70% of people get mad at epic I mean basically 100% of the community hates epic now because they did something stupid

we have a few live events here and there but there just golifed ads the last live event was literally go threw all the new modes for a few minuets each with 0 plot relevance to the timetravel plot season og had except for the start which I'm pretty sure just a an old live event with some changes and fracture the last event before big bang being nearly 2 years ago and sucked since it was just go here collect things then cutscene although we might actually get one this season and epic has been on a trainwreck the locker UI which is bugged to hell until they just now started fixing some glitches and still has some removing raritys so they can jack up prices for new skins (you cannot tell me all the avatar item shop skins are legendary and with just a pick axe and backbling each) and still refusing to give them back and aside from the movement changes it feels like we arent being listaned to at all it feels like every good idea they have and add they thrown on they throw in 60 tons of trash mix that with the immense style change for this entire chapter so far becoming more realistic instead of sticking to fortnites cartoonish style it really feels like they arent listening and fortnites identity and what made it popular is fading they haven't done much to get on there fans good graces any time recently except for season og

⁠⁠@@asuraofwrathI can’t deny that epic is making bad decisions The locker sucks and removing rarities was stupid but at the same time epic has done great things in the past few years without Donald mustard OG For example Epic made an entire season based around the nostalgia and good days of the game as well as the players, all without Donald and are doing it again and even though fracture and big bang weren’t good, I can say big bang was better and actually felt like an event for the most part So there’s some improvement there It might be cause I’m an optimistic person or it’s the fact that Fortnite and epic have seen much worse But I just can’t take the game and community I love tear apart apart and overreact sometimes even though they’ve been through much, much worse It s sickening to me And I love this game And I will continue to love it and play it Whatever happens to it

To be honest, the benefits of having live events are not better than the cons It was always buggy even though a lot of people watched it, it didn't make a lot of money for the game And it also caused seasons to be delayed and even though today people like the game's story more, at the time everyone complained about the story events

There's Playstation exclusives added to the game all the time so I don't see the deal with adding Nintendo Exclusives ya it would suck for someone like me who loves let's say Zelda and Link and doesn't own a switch but other than that It would be cool to see them in the game

Nintendo didn’t want other people on other devices to be able to see their characters as skins it wasn’t that they wanted them to be exclusively obtained by switch users it was that they only wanted switch users to see the skin so if you were a xbox player you would just see the other players skin as a default skin instead of the character
