Unpopular opinion: current zone wars maps are terrible! Olympus gives everyone the same loot and the storm moves super fast, water wars just doesn't feel realistic, and ski mountain is too crowded

The reason why people are getting bored is because people are getting burned out, so if you get burned out just stop playing for a couple of months or weeks and come back to see if you enjoy it, if you don’t just move on to a different game or just try to find a way to enjoy fortnite

Unpopular Opinion: Late Season 5 was the best Season. Once the Drum Gun was vaulted, and the other SMGs were nerfed, it was a legitimate amoubt of fun. We had Bouncers, ATKs, Rifts, Shockwave Grenades, all that for mobility. We had the Suppressed Scar added, the Grappler, the revival of SMGs (a weapon class that hadn't seen any major additions since Season 1, not counting the Drum Gun), and we had 2 fan-favorite POI's added: Paradise, and Lazy Links.

For the Star wars collab they should've added a game mode which would be a combination of Air Royale and Food fight. It would be a large team game mode where one team would be X wings and the others would be Tie fighters. The objective of the game mode would be to either destroy Alderean cruiser or a star destroyer depending on your side and would be respawns.

You should probably give STW a try if you like that, but yes maybe a LTM 50vs50 where each team has like 10min to build with a divider in the mid then after that goes down building gets disabled for the fighting, who knows might happen later

@@Thor-bk8pe ya ik that does something similar, but I more mean like the original fn PvP system that they showed off before the game launched, if you haven't seen it its really cool to see what could have been. And food fight still has building after it starts, imagine having both teams build a base on the ground and then walls cant be broken, made or edited. So your stuck with your base and it would need to have prebuilt stairs and windows and stuff, idk just a thought

I stopped playing fortnite and not much of a fan anymore but I also heavily agree with the fact that people hate on this game too much. Epic has made mistakes in the past but who doesn’t make them? Sure Epic isn’t perfect, no one is perfect. But what they do with fortnite is great, they have constant updates and a lot of content to offer always. They’ve done so much for the community and for that I have a lot of respect for Epic Games

I took a break for a few days because I couldnt handle the stress of challenges, sweats,and tryhards. I see where you're coming from.Some people need to be more mature and grateful for what epic gives up because the whole game is free, the toxic people in the epic community didn't need to play it.

@DerpDirt _YT I agree. The challenges were too hard (the Star Wars one’s in particular) it took me a couple hours to complete them. I understand sweats and try hard, but I play on console/switch so there aren’t as many. Plus, because of skill based matchmaking, I face against more people of my skill, rather than sweats.

@@nathanma9678 I guess it's skill matchmaking but I play on ps4 and the majority of the players are sweats, and I almost broke my console and controller from the winter fest challenge (eliminations with unvaulted weapons) and the Star Wars challenges (raise your flag at crash sites and eliminate stormtroopers with lightsabers or from 50m away. )

Unpopular Opinion: This community takes everything for granted. We have to give epic slack for what they do. Hands down epic is an amazing company and has created an amazing game. The fact people complain about every decision they make is just annoying. There are too many examples where the community or large content creators amp something up to be the worst change ever and ruining the game. In conclusion any thing epic puts out is taken for granted and anything epic does is blown out of proportion and content creators with a large audience use their fans to hate on epic decisions. Sorry if this is a long rant but oh well

Ima pc player and it sucks to hear this. I am not good and I usually don’t try hard and just have fun with my friends. But people are getting better and sweatier so I forces me to try harder and it sucks because the game used to be: Take over the town and build around it and protect it from others. That was fortnite. It is still very fun and by far my favorite video game, but I wish people could stop trying so hard

Honestly after years of playing this game it is not as fun as it used to be. The earlier seasons were so fun and I would play all day but now I havent even played the game in months just to get the christmas presents. It has become so repetetive and and the stuff they add or remove is stupid, it just isn't fun anymore.

Unpopular opinion: The vehicles don’t need turrets or missiles (like planes and mechs and now boats) Vehicles should only be used for transportation only and u get out and play the rest of the Match fairly

People will always complain that fortnite is "getting boring" because they eventually they get tired of battle royale. As much as epic can update the game, battle royale is a fading trend and people are starting to want more from the game. Survival, new modes, or a huge overhaul/content update for save the world might work. I think people enjoy fortnite as a base game for it's core mechanics such as building and gunplay, but are getting tired of the same battle royale gameplay loop.

Unpopular opinion: Some disliked seasons would have been better appreciated without a certain mechanic. In some disliked seasons, there was lots of more content that was fub (Example: season 7 without planes or season X without mechs.) It was fun for X because of new content every week.

Idk about y'all but I had so much fun with driftboards. I would try to hit Snipes with them. I used to be super excited when a new weapon was leaked or premeired but it's just not like that anymore. Tbh I really want the old fortnite back no matter how much I hated it. Before fortnite had lots of variety and a new LTM every week. It has just changed alot. It's not *fun* anymore.

Honesty i don't find fortnite fun anymore because of sweats and tryhards, they don't make it fun, they ruin events, example 5:05 Although i do think they should have not disabled arena, i think that these people take the game why to seriously and can't learn to have fun... You can't really use a lightsaber in fortnite solo's, and duo's because theres to many sweats and tryhards

I feel like I get tired of fortnite easily. I always start playing the game when they add something that interests me, but after im bored of that thing, I quit playing fortnite, and it's probably because in my opinion, fortnites core gameplay is boring. Looting for 7 minutes, walk to the center of the map for 3 minutes, i've played for 10 minutes and not really enjoyed it, and yeah the gameplay is more interesting in late match but not interesting enough to keep me hooked because its essentially the same thing every match. Now when i look at cs: yeah its the same thing every match basically but it's interesting because the game is so strategic, balanced and the core gameplay is fun. It's not based on random shit happening like in fortnite, there are many maps, there is more things that decide if you win (position, aim, gamesense, mapknowledge, grenadethrows) in fortnite its like building and aiming and most of the time (atlest from my experience) the loot you get decides if you win or lose in fortnite.

seQui exactly!! I miss the old fortnite before the bots tbh. Yes, I got owned by sweats but Atleast getting a victory royal I felt accomplished. The game doesn’t even get interesting until final circle and most of the time that doesn’t even be fun cause it’s bots. I miss having to sometimes grind for a win because you felt like you actually accomplished something but that’s just my opinion.

Unpopular Opinion: Chapter 2, Season 1 is the best state that Fortnite has ever been at, and is the closest to perfection the game has ever been at. It is at its LEAST buggy (S1-4), has the FEWEST overpowered or broken items (S5, and 7-10), and has the most fresh, cohesive map that isn't either too empty or too overstuffed. The game is as close as it may ever be to being "complete", as future Seasons will probably go back to being overstuffed and too complex. Unpopular Opinion 2: The Star Wars crossover was dogshit, COMING FROM A STAR WARS FAN. The event was fun (if a bit lengthy), but the lightsabers are just ridiculous. If you hold Block, you cannot be hurt with anything but an explosive from anywhere but behind. Shotguns? Blocked. Shots to the KNEES? Blocked. They're a nightmare to combat even late-game, and if ANYONE with 2/3rds of a brain lands on one right away, most of the area is royally fucked unless someone gets a snowball launcher or really lucky.

Kody Krawczuk I agrée with the things you said in the first half, but the Star Wars event was half decent. The lightsabers can be easily countered with an smg, and whenever they swing to attack they can be prone to be shot. Easiest way to kill a person with a lightsaber, is to build and wait for them to swing and just shoot them.

I think that the Cloaked Shadow skin should have been a Christmas Skin due to him being a part of the Save the world Christmas loading screen, he was released in battle royal during December and his Save the world description is "Not all Holdiay Cheer is jolly". And for the most part he was a Christmas skin until around the World cup where they kept releasing him once a month

I really hope that we get lightsaber pickaxe. It would provide even more options to combos, and most importantly for me is that Kylo Ren without his lightsaber is like ITK without Powercord. Plus we need an edit style for Kylo where you can take of the helmet. I like it, but I think without his helmet he would look even better.

While I do agree that Epic makes some really questionable decisions (I.e. adding mechs and refusing to take them out just so new players can have an easier time), you gotta admit that they do a lot for the playerbase. Yeah the skins are a tad bit expensive, yes the game is unbalanced at certain points, yes they want new players to not get stomped every time they play the game. But this game is free. They could easily just release a new season and never update it during said season (looking at you Infinity Ward.) People just love to complain in my opinion. Yes, but when I miss, I hide behind a wall or something. If they spot me, I snipe them again before the attack. If both snipes miss, I follow up with an assault rifle. If I do hit the snipe, I just skip to the assault rifle If it’s a close-ranged duel, after I hit the opponent, I rush her/him with a shotgun (preferably tac) and go for the kill.

Unpopular Opinion We need new types of pickaxe. The dual axes in season 9 were a fun surprise, and the riot control baton is pretty badass. But pickaxes have become stale imo. BeyondTwoWorlds percentages don’t make a opinion popular or unpopular. Loyal and competitive players just don’t like fortnite as much at the moment, it’s boring! People only play when events come on like wr. I only played cash cups and wr cause money was involved but after events ended after wr I haven’t touched the game for more than 2 games. Good players can’t play against bots anymore, if I play solo I’m forced to sweat against other sweats. I don’t want to carry a squad or duo but I also don’t want to try hard in solos, I get why they did it but it just isn’t a good system.
