This song is the epitome of lo-fi nostalgia. I think of everything that’s happened in Fortnite. All the memes about it when it was simply just a battle royale game. The meteor in Season 3 and then the Visitor a season later. Drift being released and everyone addicted to him, Cuddle Team Leader rising to fame, the Devourer vs Mech, when everyone thought Fortnite had shut down which turned out to be Chapter 2. The agencies and the agents, Midas, then the aliens and Dr. Slone in Season 7, the final event in 7 before we got the Cubes in 8. A new island and a new hope in Chapter 3, Season 1, The Foundation releasing, the Klombos, the peace… then Season 2 and the war. No more peace or happiness, instead a war for the Zero Point, and now Slone’s fate unknown and the Seven back together. So much has happened, and I think the saddest thing is how much the Visitor wants to retire and stay in Artemis. The first member of the Seven to release back in Season 4, now is retiring, or trying to. It’s insane how much Fortnite has grown and how much has happened in this story. I got genuinely teary when the To Be Continued played from just how much has happened. I felt genuinely nostalgic and sad. For not only the game, but real life. Playing the game in Season 3 with friends… friends I don’t even have anymore. Growing up is hard because of memories, and songs like this can trigger things you wouldn’t think of normally. Thank you Epic Games, for never stopping or ending the lifespan of this game, and continuing despite unnecessary hate or any setbacks. Thank you for creating an amazing game that has grown into the lives of so many people. Thank you for everything

This is in my opinion easily the best lobby track in Fortnite. It never feels repetitive, its just a vibe.

It hasn’t even been 1 year since this season came out and i’m already feeling nostalgic. Just the feeling of playing with your friends on late summer nights with this song playing in the lobby, knowing that you’re out of school and you have nothing to worry about. You can play all night without waking up in the morning, with sadness. Late summer nights have to be the greatest feeling. And even though this wasn’t the best season, there were so many good vibes with the summer and your friends. So, each time I come back to this video and listen to this music pack, it makes me a bit sad, wishing that I could go back, but it also brings me joy knowing that I cherished these memories with my friends. I have high hopes for this summer, and I still play Fortnite. I’m wishing that the new summer season will be just as fun.

It's really relaxing after intense games... Like losing after trying to do Top1, your hands are still sweaty, your heart beating fast, adrenaline is still flowing through your veins and you need to calm down before starting another game. Chilling in the lobby and listening to this music for 2 or 10min. But in the end you never started another game after realizing how this song calmed you down so fast. Myself i just like to listen this when i'm doing some cleaning in my room or just when i'm reading. Listening to something calm and soothing.

I've been twisting joysticks on fortnite since season 3 (Chapter 1) with my son, even though he says that I introduced him to the BEST GAME EVER, I remember him showing me how to play. He's good, Champion's League good, but I'm from a different school. Master Chief taught me everything I needed to know about (FRCVS) Full-Range Combat Variance Simulation with Halo: Reach, an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE, and my K/D ratio still outweighs any new-age generation gamer. Anyway, fortnite has been a hardcore memory with my kids and this track, "LONG RIDE HOME", really weighs heavy with my nostalgia for the memories I've created over the years with my kids. Thanks, Epic. You truly surpass your name, indeed. ....Keep 'em coming. ✌️

Goodbye season 3. when I played this season, I only knew how to complain, I didn't enjoy it. Now that season 4 is here, I can't be happy without enjoying last season.

Every time I hear this song, it reminds of July 4th of 2022. I was hanging out with my friend that I only get to see once a year. I felt free. I felt life couldn’t peak… I sometimes think of that day, and think of this song. That was one of my favorite summers ever. Can’t wait to see him again.

chapter 3 season 3 was by far my favorite season, the music was chill i had 27 wins, great battle pass, my level got to 170. and the quests were easy. everything, and my favorite; the chill music. i listen to this everyday. so chill. i love the points of intrests, i love season 3. saddly i don't have this music disc. extra imformaion; i started in chapter 2 season5. this song gives me so much lo-fi nostalgia even tho its not even an year old. my first win was in chapter 2 season 6 because i started at the end of chapter 2 season 5. thank you for making a mix of this i love it so much. the end.
