Not really… Ares has always been portrayed as a badass. His actual mythological accounts are pretty underwhelming, but he’s still the Olympian got of war, and many modern interpretations of him make him look like this badass Spartan. So this is about what I’d expect from Fortnite Ares. Anything less would’ve been a HUGE fumble.

Maybe because they never thought of that. I mean they have done it with both the Peter Griffin boss and Darth Vader. They also had death animation change back in chapter 2 season 4 with the Fortnitemares update were the drone would gitch out and turn the ghost into a shadow
