Jones has located the third gem of Pandora's Box and has sent Piper Pace to retrieve it. It is in the possession of Peabody, who won't give it up until Piper helps his employee, Dummy, with some mechanic jobs. Meanwhile, Hope continues to have gloomy visions of a dark future, as the Wanderer draws near.
