Epic’s inclusion of the no build mode was perhaps the most genius move they’ve made in recent years. it got people who haven’t touched the game in years to talk about it and play it again. my buddy swore he’d never play because the skill gap that comes with building just put him off of joining the game, next thing you know i get a message and he asks me to play the no build mode with him and he then bought the battle pass and everything. just a smart SMART move by epic.

Still a risky move nonetheless, because it's one thing to add a Zero Build mode but a whole different thing to launch a season with 1 - 2 weeks of FORCED Zero Builds, EVERYONE had to play it whether they wanted to or not. Not saying it was bad, but it was definitely a controversial move mostly because it felt like a move that was forced on us. Plus, we didn't really know if we were going to get a separate game mode after the forced zero build period was over.

in my opinion on the planes, I think that when they were introduced it was such a big change to the game when everyone had overcentralised on one strategy and refused to try something new and everyone wanted it vaulted when I think all that was needed was a change in strategy, unlike the famous line "war never changes" (which is false) everyone just needed to think different towards the situation and instead of try to get planes removed just try something new against them.

Boats, tanks, helicopters, HAVs might help, add these with planes and you got more variety, just add a few more rockets to counter vehicles and done.

I feel like the problem was more that it was forced on everyone, those who WANTED to build didn't have a choice. At the start of the season, it was ALL Zero Builds, no building modes available, nor did we know if this Zero Builds stuff would become a permanent game mode later on, so there was a lot of uncertainty.

However, that’s not true because only casual players like zero builds and a large portion of the community disliked the beginning of the season, when zero builds was the only option. Personally. I LOVE zero build. It's so much more fun than with builds because you don't have to deal with sweats. and it makes super fun and unique situations in the game pushing your tactics to the limits.

You missed one smaller one from the beginning season x. Almost no map changes after a giant monster and a megazord fought. Only a few removed trees, the skeleton, the zero point, Dusty Depot, and a destroyed pirate camp. It was due to the World Cup, but people were not happy.

Really? I thought people hated Season X because it had too MUCH going on! There was those rift beacon thingies that would change POIs over the course of the season, there was dark tilted/ gotham city, tilted town, that borderlands POI, and so on.

Whats weird is that there is hundreds of loops happening in fortnite. Does this mean that in each loop, there's a different outcome from a event. For example in one loop we won the monster fight while in another, we lost and we are all ruled by the ice king. Its pretty weird if you think about it for a while.

One thing I found very annoying in Chapter 3 is the updates they have done on guns. The heavy sniper and hunting rifle feel like they do no damage compared to what they should and the heavy shotgun makes it impossible to hit a shot (for me anyway).

Yeah, It's because of zero build there is no 1 shot guns. It ruines a lot of guns like heavy sniper which now I don't even pick up anymore. And yeah heavy shootgun has worst aim I ever seen in Fortnite.

The worst thing about the first real Halloween in Fortnite back in season 6 chapter 1 is shadow stones wet vaulted because of glitches for so long and I hardly got to use them, I think I used them once then they got removed, they were hardly there they were there for a total of about a week throughout fortnitemares

I tried to play the game through season 5 and 6 of the 2nd chapter with hopes it would turn around but they just kept making stupid decisions and when I hopped on with my friends on a squads game and 4 ufos just made me feel like a clown, I quit. I returned this season, looks like they are going in the right path, I hope it can become the game we once loved to play again.

While I still play the game, I will never forget how underhanded Epic’s reaction to the removal of the Apple store was. Comparing Fortnite being removed to Orwell’s 1984 while actual issues like the killing of George Floyd and the Impeachment charges against Trump went on, yeah, that was truly one of the worst moves I’ve seen a company make as they tried weaponizing their community when it was something they did in the first place…

There was a glitch in season four, if you threw your teammate in the iron man vault and then threw them on a chest, and open another chest, it would revive them. It was so useful 😟

Tbh I think Epic is pulling more and new people with the no build game mode. Hell I play it all the time cuz I suck at building. It can feel unfair at times, but it still is nice to have the option.

The no build version of the game is the only reason I and most of my friends started playing fortnight. We all played black out and then moved to warzone but tired of the try hards every game. Fortnight is a light hearted fun BR to keep it interesting and they got a lot of people who wanted a fun gaming night.
