There’s something so thrilling about watching these events. First, in the beginning, your getting anxious, scared for what’s about to happen, and then it happens, and while you watch in awe, you have no idea about what’s really happening until after, where you watch videos of it and realize what really happened. This game gives me a feeling that other games I’ve played have never given me. The part where the looping rockets are just surrounding the meteor was so badass, because of how fast they start to go, and the part where the laser spreads out across the whole map and then aims toward the zero point sent chills down my spine.

By far the best music in the entire game. Epic really outdid themselves with this. Every instrument is used with purpose and the final bars at the end really encapsulated the nostalgia surrounding season 0-3.

Honestly the reason I enjoy this theme so much is because of how well it's synchronized with the event. Not only that but it goes so well with the way that we feel about this event as well and thats why I'm constantly finding myself listening to this over and over again, because no matter how many times I listen, I can feel the emotion over and over again... We knew the map would be destroyed, and maybe some of us wanted it to be remade. Maybe we were all just tired of the constant changes, the same locations, good or bad, we just wanted something new. But as we saw that rocket launch into the sky we began wondering, is this really what we wanted? What about the season you joined? How did the map look like then? Your favorite places may be forever gone. But once we saw the rifts forming and rockets appearing, we knew it was too late to go back. We watched the fruits of our labor during seasons 3-10 with both satisfaction and horror. We never wanted this, we wanted something new but keeping the old. with the rifts underneath the meteor growing bigger, so did our sadness of the inevitable, and our denial of the events. We wanted to keep the old map, we wanted to still have our favorite spots and get more wins with our friends or a buddy. It was too late. As the meteor descended we realized, this was something that needed to be done, and we came to terms with it. The island had to begin anew, and so did we as people, players, bots, defaults, and developers. Things needed to start again, and once the meteor hit, we sat there in shock and happiness, maybe with some tears in our eyes. And in the final moments we bid Fortnite Chapter 1 a final farewell as, along with it we vanished within the void. We looked forward to the future but wouldn't forget the past. The game, would be a game. One where we would always enjoy the times we played and the times we raged, but we would get to relive those moments again. This was the end of the beginning.... And the Beginning of the end... So long, Chapter 1... 4:20

2:30... We believed it was over, that we survived this "End" that was proclaimed by The Scientist, but in reality... It had only marked the actual beginning of the End, while we watched in disbelief with what was happening

The buildup of the crescendo in the music just really adds up to the level of emotion that is radiating... and when the drums are cut off, the Violins start doing their third chromatic scales, and the horn fanfare just really adds the icing on the cake. This is truly a way to end off such a controversial yet amazing chapter of a game... Really this goes on to be one of the best game Soundtracks ever, and imo it really competes really well with Destiny’s Soundtracks too. Feel free to comment your opinions down below.

i remember that i started crying when the live event happened at this part 3:13 i thought that this was end of fortnite and i have been playing since season 2 when i saw the black hole i thought it was the end.. until i saw the servers were back up. i couldnt believe that there were boats now and you could swim now. until fortnite went on and on i started to lose interest of the game... until the og map came back. sadly i really wanted to play but somehow my epicgames was gone and if i tried opening fortnite by its folder it would not open so i could not play. and Fortnite has gotten my interest again and i really want to see what it brings next. the fact that there is lego now in fortnite i am never leaving this game again. And that is the story of my fortnite experience.
