Welcome to vlogmas 2021 in London. Today I took a trip to the iconic Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly London. We toured all the Christmas decorations, windows and amazing gifts. Enjoy the food, chocolate and the treats in todays vlogmas! Merry Christmas x

Fortnum and Mason - my favourite store. We go once a year on our 'luxury' shopping trip. This year I bought the Fortnum's clock Christmas ornament. It's such a special shop.

When I finally get to Fortnum and Mason, I may never want to leave. I'm going to have to budget a whole section of our trip time and funds just for that store!! 😊 So fun, Hannah! Thank you for taking us on another lovely tour. And yes, I am now drooling . . .

Absolutely love fortnum & mason - agree with you about the staff on the chocolate counter super helpful and friendly. The shop fitting is exquisite and the windows are far better than Harrods 😍

Can I just say that your hairband in the vlog is EVERYTHING and that I need one in my life? Also, that sweet teapot ornament is calling to me--I hope there are some left when I get there on the 21st!! Thank you for the beautiful vlog--I had a horrid day at work today, but sitting with a cup of tea and some fruitcake, watching today's video, brought me right back to full-on, 100% holiday feels! You're the best!

F&M has the best glass displays out of all the stores, I'm used to Paris where store fronts are dedicated for children. So it's whimsical and Christmas-y unlike the brand sponsored displays at Harrod's and Selfridges. They even have platforms where the kids can stand to watch the marionettes dance at the Galeries Lafayette, Le Bon Marché. Christmas after all, is for the children and children at heart.

What a wonderful shopping trip. I was there one Christmas a few years ago on Saturday...I could barely see anything as the crowd was packed solid. I grabbed several tins of biscuits and fled. I cannot wait to return. Thank you so much. I feel like I saw the best of everything!

Thank you so much for this! I wish I was there. Such a beautiful store. I loved seeing the window displays with the little critters dreaming of those treats. Maybe someday I will be gifted a Fortnum and Mason hamper. A girl can dream. Happy Vlogmas!

It was nice to hear you say the sales person wasn’t snooty. I remember being there with my mother when I was a child and the sales associate was a very snooty middle aged man wearing striped trousers - very formal.

I live in the tropics and am lucky to have a mature tropical garden with Meyer lemon,lime,clementine, calamondin, and orange trees They all are filled with fruit just now...every year at this time. I like to give jams, jellies, marmalades and chutneys from my garden to friends for Christmas presents along with my best cookie recipes...I want a STACK of those Fortnum Mason cloth bags to put them in....wahhhhhh!

Fortum & Mason way ahead of Harrods on the decor front, also looks a far better layout...you picked the best time to go at night..HAHA pickled brussel sprouts is that to try and make them taste better...too much chocolate for me complete sugar overload I'd be a diabetic within a week..your going for it girl with those chocs well done, its that time of the year.

Love that you vlog all the high end stores. Never knew Fortnum & Mason had a sweets floor. Next time I go I’m going to every floor before I leave. When I lived there I would pass that store many times and I always thought it was a fancy hotel. That was 43 years ago before internet. I missed out on so many things. Thank you for all your hard work and showing so much.

I’m so glad I’m not the only person who likes to see what they are buying. I have often wondered if it’s me being strange. The tiny tree decoration hamper was gorgeous. I don’t like chocolate but I do love the marzipan and fudge.

Those windows are adorable. I agree, the tins are gorgeous and such a variety of designs. I really like the iced cookies. They're fun. Pickled Brussels Sprouts?! What? LOL. The Christmas decorations, the wreaths and trees, are amazing. The dog ornament is certainly quirky. You're right, I'm very hungry now. The chocolates were reasonably priced for good chocolate. Can't wait for the next vlog.

Fortnum & Mason is amazing. A great memory from our visit at Christmas several years ago. The tea was so lovely, we went twice. First full day of the visit, and then, last full day. I am celiac, and they have an amaaaazing gluten free selection. The window displays of "dreaming of food" you showed were just so well done, and adorable. Thank you for bringing back such wonderful memories of London!!

Use to work in Albermarle Street about 5 mins away. Use to sneak out early just before Christmas to get a few treats at F & M before the crowds arrived. Miss those days.

Wow! I'm speechless, Fortnum & Mason- the windows, interior, staircase, star decorations- all beautiful! I was willing you to buy the tree decoration that was a little tray with teapot and cakes- perhaps buy when you visit with your sister for afternoon tea? I was doing a 'virtual shop' as you went round, imagining myself filling the lovely themed bag with the musical tin, a pretty tea set, loose leaf tea, some mince pies. Thank you so much for sharing, the amount of work you put into these vlogs on top of your fulltime job is definitely appreciated! Would love to see you unpack and taste test at home also ! 🍹🧁🍪🍰🍷

The shop windows are such an art form and a lot of thought and knowledge and skills has gone into developping them. I love the brocolli my favourite vegetable. Shops shouldn't be against filming inside. They should understand that people who flm and put it up on youtube are just showing other people what it's like who can't actually go and see for themselves

It’s because legally the store must not allow the filming of customers and subsequent broadcast without the customers’ knowledge and consent. By allowing you to film but not requiring you to gain customers’ approval they are putting themselves in a grey area. Also, not everyone is going to be saying nice things. some will be slagging off F&M, you could get a Marxist commentary showing customers saying they are the rich exploiting the poor. Etc.

@@tommoncrieff1154 Yes I completely get that about not filming customers. I would hate to find myself on Internet in someone's youtube video when I was shopping or doing anything else and I am a big advocate about personal privacy. The solution would be for these shops to film inside their own shop so you can really see all the products because not all of what they sell is online and you can't feel the atmosphere of Christmas by shopping online it's just not the same feeling.

@@tommoncrieff1154 just out of curiosity…which law are you referring to? I am not aware of any law prohibiting filming inside a store in the UK. A store rule or policy is very different than an actual law. I am also not aware of any law prohibiting filming without consent. I am not saying you are wrong. I would just like to know so I can be informed.
