Hey, everyone, Lead Writer here again! On behalf of the FortShorts team, I want to apologize for the delays in episodes, we plan on putting out the rest of the season as soon as we can. We're going to prioritize filming over the next couple of weeks, and are still dedicated to putting out a full 6-episode season, but we may end up having to release episodes into the next one and shortening that one to compensate. Thank you for understanding. I worked with fellow editor and writer PrtyProductive, who's studied Greek Mythology, on this one. Our take on Medusa's origin is meant to be a 'softened' version of the original story, and the idea to rewrite Medusa as a Sea Nymph was Prty's idea. Athena was known to the Greeks as one of the "Virgin Goddesses"- she and her followers practiced celibacy. When Medusa and Poseidon fooled around in her temple, it was a direct blasphemy against Athena. That's why she gave Medusa her stone gaze- to prevent men from ever looking at her again. Our Medusa was eventually able to control her curse, plus, certain helmets can protect against it, like the ones Perseus and the Minions of Olympus use. Medusa's Stone Gaze being removed by Pandora's Box is meant to be an explanation as to why she can't just use it in-game. But who knows, maybe it'll come back someday? 😉 Oh, and look who washed up on the beach at the end of the episode...could it be...?! One more thing- that temple that Medusa was fighting the guards in, anyone recognize it? :D The next main story episode will focus on Aphrodite- I hope you're all looking forward to it!

This has got to be one of my favorite episodes yet- Everything about it was great! The lighting, the cinematography, the script. I particularly loved the reference to lord of the rings!

Hope channeling the Oracle is one of the most uninteresting aspects of the series, As much as I ship Hope and Jones, these 2 always can't be together there's gonna have to be a point where Hope is gonna have to do things on her own, I mean c'mon y'all She's not 6 years old for ykw, also the Battle is Medusa and Hope is utterly pointless and also not great, I feel like I've seen this before🙄

My favorite part if this episode is Poseidon, Fr i was so disappointed it was just a slurp skin, I mean come on Poseidon deserved a better form than just a slurp gobler,

With all due respect, NewScapePro did the Medusa's chacter better because she didnt attack or choke Hope, also can we please stop with the Choking out chacters thing? That has been redoned so many times, Also Can we please get the society thing out of they way? Also Its clear to me you guys are Copying Dragons Rising dont believe me? Okay so idk how to put this but im gonna try to be respectful but at the same time I can't hide my thoughts, I will be completely honest I haven't enjoyed you're guy's episodes or skits since the one called "Era's origin story" since then these haven't been doing it for me, Even the ones that were recently released I still haven't liked them, The writing feels very rushed, It doesn't feel like A lot of time was put in to writing, I can say the same thing for the dialogue, and also the fight scenes feel repetitive when there's so many cool things you can do, There Is more but its too hard for me to say, I'm sorry but I don't enjoy these anymore, they feel like knockoffs of shows and movies I seen and don't like
