Olivia Hye didn't train before but she isn't a liability for the team (there's none btw) and she didn't suffer the way trainees suffer by being constantly opposed and scolded. I think it's a good thing in fact. The way she is is perfect to any orbit so she shouldn't hurt her self esteem :)

If you think about it, Olivia had it extremely hard. Within a 6 month period: she was chosen for debut in the group, debuted solo, debuted with yyxy, and then directly after Loona debuted with Hi High. And she had almost no preparation for what was ahead. She has a seriously strong mentality!

My first thought about Olivia Hye (when I watch Egoist - the last predebut mv), I felt she have such a powerful energy (before I learn that she trained just one day). She is my ultimate bias and the reason why I stan LOONA. Both in the lore and in reality, Olivia Hye is powerful. She can "burn" everything trying to block her way, she strong, like a wolf. "Olivia Hye is a big stone with a dragon inside. And her power will be stronger if she use it for everyone instead of just for yourself", that's right. From predebut, to ++, XX, #, and 12:00, she improving so much, because she start to use that "power" for LOONA, for Orbits. I believe she will be something really big.
