The dayan that Ustad Sabir Khan is performing with looks larger than a 6 inch mouth size tuned at D. I like seeing innovative work from some tabla makers of making large size at high pitch. It is tabla makers like Narayan Das, Gullu Bhai, Jonty Bhai, Ustad Mohd Sharif Niyazi, Asif Gorie of India and Aqeel Akhtar of Pakistan that can do a amazing job.

I totally agree bhai, it is amazing to see such feats being accomplished in tabla making. I have to agree that the tone of the tabla is formidable. The maker may be Mukta Das as his old label is seen on the bayan.
