how to find cut in voltage and breakdown voltage of given zener diode.
Definition:
forward bias:
Anode terminal is connected to positive terminal of the battery and cathode is connected to negative terminal of the battery.
reverse bias:
cathode terminal is connected to positive terminal of the battery and anode is connected to negative terminal of the battery.
Cut-in Voltage:
it is a minimum forward voltage at which current flow through the junction.
Particulars Required:
Regulated Power Supply (0-30V)
zener diode (IZ5.1)
Resistor (220 Ohm)
Voltmeter (0-1V)
Voltmeter(0-10V)
Ammeter (0-100mA).

yes, in forward bias we use 0-1v or use multimeter

zener different from pn junction diode. zener act as voltage regulator during reverse bias connection.

There is a small deivation came when the zener diode is heated. it is avoid by reduce the input resistance.
