Forwarder HSM 208F - 3D printed - RC 1:87

6 ай бұрынThis 3D printed functional model of an HSM forwarder 208F on a scale of 1:87 passed its first work tests with flying colors. The forwarder is a complete in-house construction and had its premiere at Intermodellbau 2019 in Dortmund. With a built-in 2.4 kHz receiver, speed controller, motors and gears, this model became a toy for men. Photos and data sheets served as a template for the design. The designed parts were produced using a 3D printer.
Even the tires were designed and molded with soft silicone. As you can see, such a functional model is also possible on a scale of 1:87 / H0. And the result of many hours of work is impressive. Now it's time to familiarize yourself with the vehicle and operate/control the crane even better. The functioning wooden grab increases the fun immensely.

Any 1/87 harvesters and forwarders, prefferably plastic kits or ready models? I know about Komatsu die-cast, but none in plastic.

Unfortunately, there is only a very small selection of forestry vehicles in 1:87 scale. Most of them are made of die-cast. If you find a model, you are welcome to link it here. Greetings Oliver

@@DerTheoretiker i was thinking about making something from Kibri spare parts but when i started it turned out to be complete scratchbuild (because of different design and need to be functional with all the articulated frame and tiltable cabin plus complex arm on harvester) so i skipped it until i find something ready made (die cast) and copy its design.

Jep, der erste Teil wurde vor sehr langer Zeit veröffentlicht. Den zweiten Teil konnte ich noch nicht fertig stellen und veröffentlichen. Grüße Oliver
