If you fine tune the suspension and gearing on that RWD setup, you can eaily get an 8.4 second car

They put the odometer on the hood so when you are racing you don't have to look down to see your revs. Pontiac did it with the GTO Judge as well.

The rpm gauge on the hood is for drag racing so you don't have to look down to check your rev limit when shifting

The reason the Tachometer is on the hood of the Buick and this car is so it can be in your line of sight while drag racing so you don't have to look down/over for it

The proper way to do a wheelie is use the clutch and hold the e brake until you hit 2k rpm. Then let go. I did a wheelie tune for the 599 that will hold through second gear and will hit a top speed of 279mph

I made a tune for the demon with 0-60 in 0.516 seconds, though as it was rear wheel drive it had wheelspin to the second gear

With a rwd drag car with that much horse power, you would need to put it in rally suspension so that it squats, which leads to better launch

Suggestion for a build- make the closest thing you can to an F1 car. Drivetrain, power, tire size, mid engine etc. I know you did this with the Ariel Atom but see how you can do with a more “normal looking” car, I think the result would be cool

Well, if you tune it properly can see closely the shelby. Put on it rally suspensions with front part the hardest and lowest than you can and the rear part upper and soft, also widest rear wheels and smallest front tires with the spacers in the rear part and without spacers in front, rear traction and the 1750 hp engine. Also drag tyres
