Biggest tip. If you want to even get close to grandmaster, you need simulation steering

your biggest weakness is not focusing on driving.. you're focusing too much on the leaderboard and what's happening around you instead of keeping ur eyeballs on the road so you get good drifts and stop dropping tires off the circuit which is costing you at least 20k points every lap But regardless you're doing well, but we all know you can do much better tho

ive got some really good tips if you want to take drifting seriously -stay at a speed of above 60mph -turn on sim steering(a must) -learn how to use the handbreak and abuse it as much as you can -try to take as wide of a line as possible -experiment with other cars that suit your drifting style like the good ol viper fd edition or the fd mustang

two words, Simulation Steering. get used to it, you won't get to grandmaster with those slow movements. gotta get used to the snap Nick even if its a pain in the ass

I run with all assists off and I use sim steering. And I use the Shelby 1000 as my best drift car

Another thing to do is note how high your points were on certain turns like the map that’s in that little town at the bottom right that’s almost like a rectangle ish circuit I’m usually at 60k first turn then 90k second turn etc

Manual W/ clutch is better for drifting in my opinion, when you do a clutch kick you can get really quick transitions

One of my friends said that the Toyota teruno (all around good drifter) is one of the best drift cars in the game and the Honda Civic mugen (good wide drifter) is too as an fyi he's played the game since lauch

1:03 you can do this much faster by not touching your controller for 40 seconds, prompting the game to display an inactive message, disconnecting from the lobby without losing any points
