Hey everybody! Thanks for watching. Never got a chance to make this a while back because of the insane amount of game releases this season, but now that things are starting to quiet down, and Forza Horizon 4 just released its first expansion (which I'm trying out now), I decided to revist this years biggest racing games and see how they compared. Also, if you want to try it out, The Crew 2 is free this weekend! I think it's available through uPlay on the PC platform.

The perfect racing game: *Forza's realism & graphics * TheCrew2's map & game play (I like the boats, planes, etc.) * NeedForSpeed's customization

I mean let’s face it who the hell actually stops their car in the crew 2 to look at grass

I still rather play The Crew 2 because of: - Customization - Big Map - The Graphics aren’t actually that bad, ofcourse it’s not as amazing as Forza but it still doesn’t dissapoint, I can assure you that. And just the freeroam possibilities. I can fly over beautiful scenes with online players and race them on so many different circuit tracks, or do a fun road trip from New York to Los Angeles. It’s amazing.

I’ve played fh4 for nearly 500 hours and I’m pretty bored of it but when u play the crew 2 u don’t get bored as easily cause there’s so much to do

If crew 2 graphics were as detailed as fh4 game size would have been 200 gb..

One thing I love in the crew 2 is first person on bikes, I adore that.

Crazy thing is I'm a Forza guy. Been that way for a decade. But despite Forza Horizon 4 obviously looking a whole lot better, I want to spend more time driving on the Crew 2's map of USA where as most of the time find my self just rushing to complete the Horizon Playlist to unlock cars on FH4 but not actually wanting to spend time driving around FH4's UK map. And I LOVED FH3's Australian map more than any of the other Horizon maps, but at first when i played the Crew 2 I was like "Wow this looks terrible and is too arcadey", but gave it another shot this year and man I'm addicted to the Crew 2. The map is so fun and graphics whilst not as great as FH4 are very impressive considering the games got like the 2nd biggest map in racing game history and then all those different types of vehicles not to mention the traffic actually does realistic speeds so feels like they are actually going somewhere where as in FH4 they seem aimless to me, serving as more of an obstacle than mimicking real traffic. I really like FH4 (but prefer 3), but now I find myself playing a lot more Crew 2 than FH4. The Crew 2 graphically scales (and plays) more like NFS Heat than FH4.

The crew 2 got a BIG ADAVANTAGE with the sound quality

Literally every ps4 player with an interest in racing wants to play forza.

The Crew 2 sound quality makes the car sounds feel much more powerful but then Forza Horizon 4 makes it feel realistic. IMO

i think racing game devs can learn a lot from R*'s damage model in GTA games, particularly GTA 4. The damage model in 4 was astonishing for that time and still is good today.

The crew 2 has more potential but is not done well FH4 has a basic concept but well made I play both PCMASTERRACE

Completely disagree on the damage part, I turned off damage in Forza because it looks so bad. At least in the crew the cars dent and the body panels misalign, rather than just getting really scratched up.

I hail from Maple Valley and am a scholar of the Forzanite culture. but hoppin on The Crew 2 and drivin from Salt Lake to Miami is just the best. It's like a more serious Midnight Club and it's just fun. if I wanna do engine swaps and tune till my brain is numb that's fun too, but not that same nostalgic kind of fun.

The crew 2 is a good and fun game with a big map, different variety of vehicles like boats and planes. but you can't compare this game with FH4. Forza is a better game with detailed graphics, better multiplayer, car list and diferent seasons.

Only a true gamer respects both of these games.

A year later from the release of The crew 2, and the game is still fun and enjoyable to play, free roam and u will meet new players almost everyday, new events every week..etc That is a statement of how good The Crew 2 is.

Forza does realism and gameplay better, crew does map size and creativity better.

Crew 2 for the maps, better sound IMO. Traveling through the country on an Indian MC is amazingly accurate. Sights, sounds, etc. I like both games however.

The Crew: Better map, more to drive, change interior of your car, walk around sometimes Forza: More fun to drive around, better graphics, car driving more realistic, you could buy cars you want

a nice sound quality thing the crew has over forza is definitely the squeaking tires when you drift or take a harsh turn, it sounds so much better and it’s more common.

My intermet was bad and i literally watched it in 144p and i thought it was 480p but i could still see the differences with the gameplay

The Crew 2 is a huge open world game with a ton of vehicles and that's why it lacks graphic quality. Even is real life you can easily tell that U.S.A. is a lot bigger than the UK.

Main reason I like the crew 2 over forza..is sound.. I think alot of cars in forza sound similar .i think TC2 got vehicle sounds down pretty good to each respected engine and model

Please do a comparison on The Crew 2 before VS after the Demolition Derby Update, they did some changes with the lighting.

I've been waiting too long to play either forza horizon 4 or crew 2. Now that i have played much of forza horizon 4, i must say that map is embarrassingly small. I know all the roads and there's nothing new. Really wanna play crew 2 now.

I expected a gameplay comparison. Like 'what can you do here and there' and the like... Graphics are just sides. The green stuff aside your big German Schnitzel! But neat comparison. If I would look just on graphics and sound I would easily decide in favor for Forza Horizon 4/5. Stay crunchy.

I got the crew from my nephew in France last year, and in tuis quarantine i played it and it was cooler than i thought

Years later I barely played FH4 and played FH5 for a few weeks. I am currently enjoying Crew 2. They are still updating the game and making it better and better. I have more hours in Crew 2 than FH4 and FH5 combined.
