After playing thru a bit of the new DLC I wish they made the base map as flowy with the turns as this. Some of these races are really fun!

Agreed. I know people were disappointed in the final expansion being rally but after seeing the roads it’s honestly kind of worth it. It truly feels like a map where they really paid attention to every detail when mapping out the roads. I hope learn from this and incorporate it on the next game

@@Wolf57381 the dlc has some of the most technical tracks in fh5, with lots of sharp and u turns. To me personally, this is perhaps the best xpac in the series. The dlc also looks very beautiful and doesnt have the lod popin problems that exist in the base game. If you enjoy collecting cars or driving in hypercars this dlc is not really for you

I wish we had the option to disable the map only on races, so you can be more immersed on the racing, and still have the map in freeroam

@ThinkingFL232 Just finished the 3 main teams and Goliath Race it was pretty fun. I can't wait for more offroad vehicles like, hopefully, the Hummer H3 and Dejong MXR.

@@deafmango Yeah with the Blue Races using something like a Rimac Concept 2 or the Bugatti Divo is pretty good. Then with everything else just use a rally monster or trophy truck.

My first impression after about hours is that the roads are much better on this map than on the main map. It looks good, but not very different/original. I really enjoy the rally mode in all it's parts: race notes, race note icons and split times (I've wanted that for a long time). The map isn't huge - a lot smaller than the first expansion. Overall I like it, but I doubt the long term sustainability is there.

I feel like because I've played WRC before I will have an advantage in terms of looking at the pace notes and knowing where to go without a racing line.

I had thousands of hours in FH 1,3 and 4. So I bought the most expensive all inclusive fh5 on pre-order. I played it for like two months. I don't even know if I want to come back for this. But nicks vids always has me hooked 🔥

These routes are way more challenging due to such rough terrain. I bet most online adventure races will be super chaotic since most players can’t drive well on the main map
