Very odd one, FH5 has the loudness, but GT7 has more depth to the sound that makes it more realistic, GT7 just needs to be louder.

okay, seriously now, why is forza motorsport even trying? they literally butcher the sounds of every iconic car in the game. their sound engineering team is an embarrassment. Hats off to polyphony and playground for actually trying to nail down the sounds of the real-life counterpart.

Gran Turismo doesn't capture the excitement of a high revving modern V12, Forza Motorsport sounds like it was made by Jean Michele Jarre and his synthesizer and Forza Horizon although maybe slightly over the top gets the sound closest for me.

But it gives you more fun, connects you more to the car and gives you the most overall feeling of racing. In FH5 you're going to forget about it when you do all the things you wanted to do (I already did it) And I don't even want to talk of GT7, GT sport was so boring that I sell my PS4, my very first console.

@@vyasrushi5177 Have to disagree there. I'm a GT fan myself, but in my honest opinion, GT7's exterior sound is a bit muffled to Horizon's. However, it is very loud in GT's replay mode. You can hear that thing scream on the fly-bys just like in real life as it should. If they can update the intensity of the loudness just like in the replays, it should be decent.

In terms of accuracy, GT7 takes the cake in everything but the idle. Its basically spot on FH5 sounds better but isnt quite right. Idle is perfect though FM23 sounds like fucking GT4

Need to compare it with the real sound though. Best sound isn’t always the closest to the real one. Soemtimes a sound can be disappointing, but if that’s the real sound, it’s the most realistic one of course. However in general how massively Motorsport is… both in the sounds department as in gameplay… looks like a Forza game from so many years ago. How much more advanced Horizon 5 is… The time I tried those 2 new Lamborghini race cars from Horizon 5, which has such amazing sounds from both the engine but certainly even the shifting. And in Motorsport it sounds so dull…

FH5 wins by a mile everything from the idle to the gearshift sounds its bang on. I dont see how anybody can put even GT7 sounds above this one but I do agree that GT7 sounds better then FM's

It's odd because GT7 sound design has more depth to it where as FH5 has the loudness but that's all it has, if you were to combine aspects of both exterior sounds it would be better. The only interior sound that's the best here is GT7, very accurate sound.

forza horizon 5 Gran Turismo 7 Forza Motorsport In this case fh5 have the most "natural" engine sound, gt7 lacks of that naturality and has that notorious generic pattern sound (how the rpms sound without a sound bank in it.), if gt7 increase the sound of the samples (hiding a little bit the generic pattern sound of gt7) for me it would take it first place but that is not the case. Seen FH5 i still don't get how motorsport sounds bad, but it might be something in my head. still none of this sounds aren't exactly accurate.

FH5 = GT7 >>>>>>>>>>FM8 FH5 has better exterior sound, tunnel (definitely) and idle sound, but GT7 does have a better accuracy in low-mid rpm and better interior sound Pitch wise, FH5 and GT7 is very similar so noone can say that either of them are too high pitched.... FM8, am i the only one noticed that FM8 has a sound similar to that FM7 LaFerrari (during FM7 Launch) sound....? why they just don't copy FH5 sound ._. majority of their sounds are so so bad compared to BOTH FH5 and GT7... like FH5 is an arcade which supposed to be fun despite having less-realism feeling yet FH5 has better and mostly realistic sound than FM8...

Man… I played GT7 after a few months and after playing Forza Motorsport for a month. It’s awful, unplayable. Doesn’t even feel like a real driving game. The camera, controls, sound, graphics. They’re so outdated and feel so bad.
