Forza Motorsport - Hopefully He Learned A Lesson

Ай бұрынHello and welcome, so we didnt get to qualify for this race so we started out in the back, and it wasnt to long before we ran into our first dirty driver. This was a race with a new c8 tune and this was the first race with it. This was apart of our community races we do on the weekends, if you would like to come race with us be sure to stop by the streams on saturday and sundays starting at 12pm EST. As always i hope you all enjoy.

@@CsmcBlzr47 yeah, I observed 3 hits on the porsche and McLaren he was racing. Blocked me on a straight forcing me to bump him. Then divebombed me after I intentionally shut the door and had plenty of space to do so, crazy how everyone else agrees with me....

I've just noticed after buying FM for 1 week and posting a bit on Forza's reddits, that Forza community is one of the most toxic communities in gaming, specially compared to any other racing game I've ever played where people are much more positive, maybe because on simulator titles you're interacting with people who have their life together and also race IRL. 😂

I'm new to simracing but I have found Forza to have very un polite drivers, I don't know enough about racecraft but I do leave room and try to stay on my line if someone is coming up behind me that is clearly faster, sending him to the shadow realm was perfect. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, I mean I counted 3 occasions he was driving like an idiot. So when he divebombed me after I closed the door and didn't leave him room for a move and him blocking me on a straight causing me to bump him, not including him bumping and pushing other drivers off. I think it was justified 🤷♂️

You seem to use 1st gear a decent bit is it just to get that extra rotation in slow speed corners ? I have only ever gone down to second playing FM7 and this

@@Staticc146 yeah I use it to get the extra rotation. Alot of corners I will use 1 gear under as long as I'm not redlining then up shift for the exit.

I think my biggest problem with this game is I used to only do rivals, so now that I have been doing a lot of multiplayer I am not constant, idk how to get past that hump yet, I am starting to get faster but I feel like I’m just behind, any advice you could give in that regard?

i think you just have to get more comfortable around other drivers. If you race with us during the streams that should build up some confidence for pub lobbies. At least in our lobbies we race clean lol

just keep going, the more you race and learn the track and what the cars are capable of, the faster you will get.

@@GrimmLegionGaming I don’t have a huge problem with other drivers, in regular lobbies I am consistently top 3, I think I hold myself back with the c7 corvette but no other car in GT class fits me, I also think I just need to put the time in like I did the last few Motorsport games but feel like I don’t have the time. I have been in a few of erratics lobbies, and I have noticed I have gotten faster, I am a quick learner. I think I am just impatient, sorry for the rambling

C8 is one of those really strong cars that everybody uses. I think it's the main reason why the C7 gets somewhat overlooked and underutilised because people don't give it the chance and look at the the C8 and assume it's the better one which it is. I almost pulled a 2:17 on mediums at Spa with the C7 idk if that's any good I'm sure you could get way faster but it really can keep up and shine if you give it the chance it deserves😁🙏

Forsure, I do think the c8 is a bit strong. Obviously not op because of the other cars we have. But I do think it is just as meta as the viper. I think I ran 1 42.6 here on meds which I don't think I've done in any other car besides the TT RS which is op. The c7 is growing on me after the race I had at Daytona with it. I was genuinely surprised at its pace.

@@GrimmLegionGaming Was regularly doing 1:44's with the C7 with G1M Pointed's tune on Kiyalami earlier and won. Though when I've ran it on Spa the best I've done is probably a 2:20 on mediums lol. I bet you could easily gain more time than that and still kick butt with it. I remember seeing you do 1:43's with it on Daytona earlier which is crazy to me. Would be interested to see more of it.

Love seeing you gliding effortlessly around the track demolishing everyone despite having a big 6 sec penalty. Dude got what he deserved. After two decades of me playing Forza, seems I'm still missing something in my technique 🥲. Hats off to you sir
