This game is on update 10. Still no drifting, still no drag racing, game still crashes for no reason, geting penalty when its not even your fault, no new actual tracks added to this game since launch and the Ferrari wing. What is Turn 10 actually doing with this game 💀

The proximity radar is a nice addition. Gran Turismo 7 has blind spot indicator in addition to proximity radar in the Multifunction Display (MFD) but you cannot customize where you can place the proximity radar as it’s only on the MFD. Nice work by the developers to allow custom placement options for the proximity radar.

In career mode the class series now the practice laps abruptly end after you finish the set amount of laps. Literally, the screen goes black when cross the start finish line and you are back in the pits. You can't even see what your lap time was. You used to be able to keep lapping for 10 minutes. Why did this get changed? It was fine. It was a good was to increase your car level doing an extra lap or 2 and occasionally I didn't beat the lap time for the goal and would continue to get that. Makes no sense to change this.

Forza Motorsport still have less features than 8 which came out like 7 years ago

This is the third time in under a year of monthly updates that this game hasn't had a track. The first time was while they were fixing their garbage upgrade system that everybody told them would be a problem but they ignored. The second time was while they were fixing the FMR and AI, which both still have massive issues btw. This is the third time. And for what? A low budget proximity radar that makes the ones in GT7 and ACC look like they were designed by NASA? What else did they add? Oh yeah, a replay suite of tools that looks worse than what was available in Gran Turismo 3 damn near 25 years ago. 3 months. No Monza, no Bathhurst, no Red Bull Ring, no Sepang, no Interlagos, no COTA, no Road Atlanta. No original track ideas to break up the monotony of looking at racing circuits. No rally. No drift. No drag racing. Instead it's been month after month of fixing their Beta release and month after month of FOMO series that disappear after 4-6 weeks in a game where the career mode is already devoid of content. This game sucks.

Almost all of the updates has been truly lackluster and not fixed the biggest issue fm has, I lost hope for it months ago, i have not bought it, but i was waiting for it to come around, and as things going sadly its never will happen, At least gt7 have good update coming up that caught my attention, my bet is that fh5 will get a pretty good update as well, both gt7 and fh5 has carried the racing game genres the latest years, fm is sadly not part of that.

There's also the Logitech G and Mobil 1 racing suits in this months update. This week can get Logitech G suit, and once Maple Valley rolls around, can get Mobil 1 suit. Both in rivals ofc.

I drive nascar on this game and since the published update 10. We can no longer pack race as the lag will make 8 out of 10 drivers lag and cause wrecks. So my league is at a standstill until they fix the issue which will probably be update 11 which sucks cause we’ve been on the same season since march😢

The problem these developers and companies have, is by the time they release a game half baked and add the standard basic features in later... nobody cares and the audience has moved on. I really wanted to buy this game, too slow for radar, no triple support, no vr, buggy as hell, can't get replays right. Unfortunately loss of interest.

To be fair, I think it's fine for them to release a feature/fix-only update once in a while.

How do you remove 300 cars from the last game and then not have the idea too just randomly re add them In between updates and then ad a large chunk like 10+ of them at once when a update comes out And why would they remove the old tracks to add them back later , a logical person would have left them in the game and when the updated version is ready , replace the old one then do a update around that track as a theme 90% of the story mode content is gone because FOMO And for some reason a car is behind a month long time wall , why even show me the Mercedes if I can’t even unlock it

Radar is definitely a great addition to this game. Not tuened it on sice getting the update but will give it a go when i get 5 minutes to play a game 😂😂 great to see turn 10 still updating things. Yes would like more tracks and more modes especially in MP and SP. Im kind if hoping we get a road map at some pont but i doubt we will see that.

I just want regular cars, thats what I loved about Gran Turismo. I could mod a 1996 mazda mini van if I wanted. This game is basically all super cars.

Not gonna lie, I'm pretty happy I skipped out on this Motorsport with the way it's going.

The cockpit view should be so much better so you can see more it's been the same since cockpit views began it's now 2024 and haven't redeveloped it at all to make it more realistic.

I kind of have no faith in this game anymore. Its not like FH5 where it was a horrible launch but i could see them making an effort to improve, Forza Motorsport just feels entirely disconnected. Not only from its roots but also the fanbase. Playground Games is constantly interacting with the fanbase, whether you like it or find it annoying, but Turn 10 and Forza Motorsport are just quiet. And its a really telling sign that the last like 2 or 3 updates have each added like 1 new feature, 1 new feature that doesn't work as intended and 1 new car. Not to mention things that they promised to fix are still broken (I've been getting screwed over by the penalty system so much recently its insane).

I stuck with the game for 1000 hours as I believed in it, the foundation is there. After update 9 I abandoned it due to performance issues on a 2060super, game ran fine before then at 100 fps. Now im getting 60 after reducing graphics settings even more. Came back to check out update 10, they removed GT and nerfed the lateral g's for every gt car in the new gt2 series. Forza was slippy before, update 10 made it even worse.

LMAOOOOOO they made the Big Country Labs wing less wide, so now instead of it being a nice super big wide wing which looked good on stock or even with a wide-body on, now it's too skinny even on a stock car and looks stupid as fuck xDDD

Just to let you know for the fps shift time bug and how it has been fixed (it actually is confirmed to be completely patched), techically, lower fps shift times are now faster. which means the leaderboards dont need to be reset. For the competitive community, and imo, this is the biggest part of the update, at least for the comp community that care about competitive integrity

We need to start holding developers to a higher standard they make millions of dollars and there is constantly broken features for years in games they don't bother to go fix and the car proximity thing dose not need to be nearly as big and the only option to combat how big it is is to replace your mini map they could have done it small and right next to the radar or actually at the center top instead of center of the screen

They Still got a lot of catching up to do to at least get to the point where we have everything the devs advertised at launch(drifting/drag racing) then they need to add all the fan favourite cars from horizon. Yaris,Nissan stagea, ford lightning, GMC typhoon/ cyclone(at least all the cars that were well received by the community) they need to get their original ideas for the DLC content for this game they have a lot to work on

You do know that there’s fov sliders for the different cameras I haven’t had a single problem seeing cars in my mirrors or out the windows it’s not rocket science not saying it’s not a nice quality of life just saying it’s kinda obsolete after you increase your fov to see more lol

I`d honestly say every single update since launch has been leaving something to be desired. I forgave the initial state of the game based on the assumption that fixes and content updates were going to be rolled out quickly, and that we`d be getting drift and drag (among other game modes) soon, but we`re approaching the game`s first aniversary and there still haven`t seen any new game modes, or any new singleplayer content, that isn`t some FOMO crap that I refuse to engage with. It`s a shame too, because for as much as I don`t like how GT7`s menu system is what passes for a career, and for as much as I vastly prefer how Forza motorsport feels on a controller vs GT7, this current Forza Motorsport can`t hope to ever compete with GT7, at the glacial pace they`re rolling out content and bug fixes, not to mention Forza just lacks a certain character.... It`s just really disapoointing

Radar is a huge improvement. Game itself still looks buggy, but at least multiplayer will probably be less of a ram fest.

As of writing this, the game is downloading for the first time, for free on game pass. It doesn't seem this game is going to get the development it needs, so I'll try it out, and if it pisses me off enough, I'll uninstall and never look back. Fh5 has been my go-to ever since release. They had a bad start, but it got better with new cars being released, and the creator side of the game is amazing. It is unfortunate that this company owns the racing game market so i cant depend on a new racing game like fh5 but better. Fh6 will probably be another disappointment by missing so much potential, but it's all we will have.

the radar shouldve been there since launch. its one of the most usefull and needed thing for a race sim. even tho its a thing now. it looks horrible. just 2d boxes arent bad but they look low quality even tho its a 2d image wich is impressive to do. the placements is kinda ass too, i think i can speak for some people. i like having my map so i can see how far people are infront, like on what corner they are. having the map dissapear fully is not it.

You know what they need to add for Forza Horizon 6 they need to add individual gear boost pressure tuning transmission shift Point tuning ignition advance and retard timing for tuning just more better tuning options I want to be able to adjust every single engine parameter every parameter on the car

So, still an ongoing mess since 2023. Think I'll be sticking with Kunos and their wares (Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, upcoming Assetto Corsa Evo), that team hasn't taken their customers for a ride, unlike Turn10 and Playground Games.

So why does my fps report it as 90s-120s if it’s limited to 60 and that’s the in game fps counter …. Another broken thing ? Did I read somewhere that they are adding multi class races at some point ? Or was I tripping?
