The reason why Jungkook was in the wheelchair and in the hospital was because he got into a car accident. And when Yoongi got a phone call, it was a message from Hoseok telling Yoongi that Jungkook got into a accident then Yoongi drank and raged of anger. The girl in Jimin and Hobi's storyline was Hobi's sister (I'm not really sure, but this is my assumption) . That flashback shows hobi getting abandoned by her mother in the park and left him with a snicker thats why you get to see Hobi in the wings short film eating a snicker. I can't really explain all of it since I haven't read all of the notes book released by bighit years ago but highly recommended xceleste's videos about the bu story line. You should react to it if you wanna know more. ❤

There is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more to the storyline then you could even imagine guys. It’s not just videos the notes , the order you watch it, the music videos, the webtoon, theories from song lyrics, books, etc. it’s gonna be really hard to understand if you go about it like you have been.

Okay, so just to give you guys some info on the storyline: The members all have a partner. Jimin and J-Hope are partners, Namjoon and Tae are partners, Yoongi and Jungkook are partners and Jin is on his own. The girls that are with the members are their partners which represent the BTS members. The girl that is with Namjoon is Tae, the girl that is with Jungkook is Yoongi, the girl that is with J-Hope represents Jimin (which is why Jimin was recording her. This basically represents the fact that Jimin is always paying attention to every detail about himself and making sure that he is doing everything correctly.) The girl that was seen with Jin was himself and that is why Jin looked kind of shocked, hurt and confused. It’s because he almost kind of saw “himself” die. If you go back to past videos such as I Need U, RUN, and their solo songs from 2016, you will notice that these clips in the highlight reel resemble to things from their past mv’s. Also, there are significant objects in these highlight reels that you will see if you go back to the Fake Love teaser. In the Fake Love teaser, you see them exchanging things like a piece of glass (Namjoon), an umbrella (Jimin), a lighter (Yoongi), and other things to get back something that will make them happy. You will see that Namjoon has a black band in his hand, J-Hope with a cake, Yoongi with a yellow lollipop, and Jungkook with a key. So, yes. In this storyline, Jin is a time traveler and he keeps going back in time to save the members from dying, but each time he goes back, something bad keeps happening, and you notice after Jin time traveled in this and he stopped the glass and flower from falling, he looked completely drained. So, he lost his own happiness to try and save all of the members each time. I’ll stop here for now since there is SO much more to the storyline that we don’t know about and I know that this was a lot. I don’t know if I’m completely right though, so feel free to correct me anyone! 😁💜😘💖🥰

Remember that BU is based on Jung theory about the : persona, ego, shadow.... Highlight reels is explaining the animus ( the feminine side of the persona) and the anima (masculine ) the girls represent them animus, them sensitive and positive side, the reflective part of them that show them life from different perspective. SUGA girl show him what is positive in his life, who make him happy (Junkook) and encourage him to abandon bad habits, smoking. So she write Y.K. (Yoongi, Kookie), this way everytime he wants to smoke he will remember something more precious, his friend Kook. Junkook girl make him reflect and don't gives up on Yoongi, she also remove his headphones to listen Yoongi play guitar and to go and look for him( Yoongi represented by the girl this time, see in the guitar is hanging his lighter). V girl doesn't represents him, but RM and the same, RM girl represents V. V try to save RM from his poor live probably pushed to steal and so, that's why he pays for the Items in her bag that she tried to steal, later he ignore her representing the time after prologue, where V after killing his abusive dad, call RM for support, he is upset and ignore the girl because RM never answered that call. RM feel curious about the girl (representing V) because of his innocence and simplicity. He wants to approach her (but remember the girl is V) he feels ashamed because he let him down when he missed the call, so he just observes her. Now, Jimin and J hope share the girl, I don't know why? Or who she represents. Personally I think it does represent Jhope, because they both dance together and it looks like it is their passion for dance what encourages him to try and dance too. The little boy on the fun fair is J-hope the day his mum abandoned him. She ask him to count till 10, playing seek and hide. That's why on the orphanage the maths teacher always punished him(notes). J- hope couldn't count till 10 as he was too afraid that if he did, his mum would never appear again in his life. Jin is the one suffering the Butterfly effect, he "dream" or "travel the parallel universes" finding a solution for noone to die. However the girl give him the final clue. See Jin's face reaction the girl is hit when crossing the road to meet him. Is it the reaction of someone witnessing the accident of a close relative/girlfriend or is it the reaction of someone that suddenly see the solution that was just in front of his eyes!!! In my opinion he realized that the solution is him: he must die to safe everyone. She represents him, he sees himself as the person that must die to safe the others. That's why straight after he ask himself, till which point he should go back, because he found the solution of his friends fate. Remember in spring day there are "all star trainers" hanging on the tree, jin is the one wearing All star more often. Those shoes are picked up by Jimin by the beach. Jin in another MV ( butterfly???)jump off the platform that V jumps in prologue. That's why the shoes reach the shore. It make sense the first death or suicide was V suicide on that platform and that's where Jin conclude he should go back to and swap his fate with V's. That's my conclusion just a personal view of the BU. I hope it will help anyone to see that beautiful world that BTS created. But don't worry, something will happen and Jin will be saved....

The Lollipop , the cake , the school bag and the hair tie appeared on fake love’s teaser because they come back on the past for arrange the future because the Jin’s girl rappresents all members . In the final Jin have a bouquet of smeraldo flower , they make it back to the past . Finally , this flower appeared on run mv. All video are linked together

According to Demian’s book in which a big part of hyyh story is based along with the Jungian analysis, Y K in yoongi’s lighter would mean “Yoongi” “Kook”, because they supposedly have a platonic more than friends toxic relationship. And about the girls in the vid: Jin actually falling in love with the girl, Namjoon is having a crush on the girl, JK befriended with 'his' girl bcs they both alone in hospital. Tae and his girl didnt know each other before but after the minimarket incident they began to hangout together and doing vandalism. The girl with yoongi is his producer friend and they both were making song together and the girl with jhope and jimin is actually jhope's friend. She is jhope's dance partner. The reason jimin film the girl was because he wanted to be jhope's dance partner, thats why jimin was looking to the girl intensely when they were dancing.

I would recommend watching a compilation of all their music videos all the way back from their skool luv affair era. The storyline begins from there. As you watch the compilation a lot of the highlight reels will start to make sense. There is also a book called the most beautiful moment in life which has all of the notes that you get with your albums and it has them in chronological order. Reading that will also explain further what’s going on in the reels

i dont really wanna reveal like everything but kook was in the hospital because seokjin hit him so kook wouldnt jump off a damn building. taehyung was spray painting w/ the girl when the cops found them so they went into an alley way but the ally way was blocked so tae sacrificed him self. jimin was washing off blood because of what happened in the past. namjoon wasnt showed alot but he was crushing on the girl so he put a hair tie on her stuff. while hoseok was running with the girl he hurt his ankle. i forgot why the girl took his lighter (maybe so he'll stop setting his ass on fire) but she gave him a yellow lollypop. (in one of the fake love teaser you can see them trading things in and getting other stuff) and ous already know seokjin went back in time

this is like the second cycle after the first events, they are separated and having their own life but again things get out of hand, and for tae the girl was stealing and tae went to pay for her, thats how they get to know each other, and they were vandalizing so the police arrest tae, hobi and jimin were the ones in the hospital and jimin has a past something happened to him when he was young, jhope flashback was his mom abandoning him with a snicker bar , the story line is still ongoing guys. jin is still trying to save everyone .

If people play close attention, when V and that girl were vandalizing the bus stop, you can see V writing ‘Save Me’ which in ‘Fake Love’ close to the end, there is a black graffiti message that says ‘Save Me’ behind him close to the end, and when J-hope was having his flashback at the carnival, his mom said ‘Close your eyes and count to 10’ but she never returned but you can see a object close to him, it was a snickers candy bar that his mom left him, which in ‘Fake Love’ he is laying in a big pile of Snickers, not only that but if you pay attention for the new armies, you’ll have to watch BTS’S ‘I NEED U’ to help understand the story better and I really recommend reading the story on WebToon to help understand it better as it shows the full story to the highlight reel, I hope this helped!

The BU storyline is referencing from the I need u,epilogue butterfly,and wing short stories, and Run mv. The lollipop RM has is when it was shown in run and I need u when he working at the gas station. The represent of fire with Suga as we have seen in fake love and the beginning seen of the I need u mv. V his meaning has to do with the abuse from his dad and helping his sister. JK is in wheel chair from being hit by a car in I Need u. The meaning of time and what is time and how it’s precious. The power of love they resemble as brotherhood when all together. J-hope story was shown again in I need U and wings short film 'MAMA. The loss of his mother and how he handle those emotions through dance. I believe Jin role is time how he control time as all the members face challenges when solo. But as stated when together those worries and emotions tend to fade.

I guess it's really confusing to jump right into it just like that, but to sum it up, Highlight reel comes after the HYYH timeline, it's the result of their mistakes in that era, Jin does actually time travel, and not to spoil it for you ( u'll understand it more thru the webtoon) but if u notice at the end Jin has a pile of clothes on the chair and they showed him changing into different outfits, that actually indicates him time travelling a couple of times already, those scenes of chaos at the end, are each the result of each trial he did. the girls symbolism is still vague, some say they represent their personas, and multiple other theories, Jungkook meets the girl in a hospital after he had a car accident in HYYH ( the end of RUN) , Taehyung's girl was stealing and he stopped her only to start vendalizing properties together ( which is why there were cops running after them at the end) , Namjoon's girl is someone he followed from a far and apparently he left her alone by leaving that hair band on her stuff in the bus scene, Yoongi's girl stopped him from smoking and took the lighter that actually reminded jk of their past when he heard her playing in the hospital, JiHope is a dancer that jimin is secrelty interested in but he end up hurting her and hobi takes care of her and he ends up being late again( the umbrella scene) and finally Jin's girl, she dropped the diaries that talk about the smeraldo flower ( u can see it if u pause in the open book scene) and it's apparently the book that helped him in time traveling, the last scene he gets her Smeraldo flowers ( which are imaginary flowers related in the BU as well and they have their own story) but she ends up dead too. I think each girl represents the link of the boys to each other in a way, there s a celeste video that explains the BU better, so maybe after reading the webtoon u'd check it too

The theory is Seokjin might have hit Jungkook on May 22 to prevent him from jumping off the building again which happened on April 11 (check out the save me webtoon as well) first. On July 24 Jungkook had suspicion on Seokjin the most because he saw the dents amd damage on Seokjin's bumper.
