So sorry to hear about the Purdy card. Tried to replicate the damage (bent in a toploader with bubble wrap) there isn’t a bend that doesn’t damage the front too.

That sucks with the return I usually sleeve top load team bag card board on both sides shrink wrap bubble wrap inside bubble mailer for high end cards. Never had a problem with shipping.

that sucks.. i had a situation where I sold an Ohtani insert /50 (secured in toploader and photoboard around that and bag, etc. in a bubble mailer), and guy got it and sent me photos.. i couldn't beleive it, but appeared that the bubble mailer had faillen on the ground at the post office and they ran over it with something (maybe full bin of packages or something in the shipping process).. crease on back was worse than that. if not intentional on your buyer's part.. probably usps...

Ed just fill out a replacement for a damaged card with panini an just send it tracked. Eventually you'll get it replaced or they will give you something better

I would get a hold of the post office and have them pay out the insurance or at least what they claim is insured you took the card back because it was supposedly damaged on bigger ticket items like that seeing how you're reputable I would reach out to the buyers and say hey if you want extra insurance I'll create a listing for insurance but I'm not paying for the insurance on the item you can if you want to just in case but that's going to be the deal breaker it's what I do and if they say no they don't want insurance I explain to them all sales are final and they have to agree verbally verbal agreements are just as ironclad as it being in writing
