I think I would be hollering "hey bear hey bear" before entering and tossing a few rocks before I crawled in there. I'm a big chicken thou LOL. Thanks for the adventure Tony. Nice video. love the ending.

Down the tracks from poor house hill. We use to go into those caves when we were in high school. Shikellamy High. Class of 90. Lots of great memories there. Thank you for sharing. Great video. It was definitely a Raccoon print. That dam was the dam used by the PP&L steam power station. The power station now converted to natural gas. Was a coal electric plant.

Thanks for commenting and all the great information and sharing your memories of the caves. Yeah Raccoon my thoughts as well. I was thinking there might be more caves might try again in the fall after the leaves are gone. Was just in NY at a Hotel Ruin on Overlook Mountain after I got home someone mentioned a cave..... have to go back. Lol

You did a great job finding those caves, Tony, with the vegetation being so thick.

Amazing how much different the woods look in just 2 weeks :) Yes it was totally by chance I found the 2nd one. Good thing I stopped to look at the honeysuckle bush or I would have totally missed the lead rope on the side.

Thanks for watching and commenting. I really appreciate it. I plan to get back as well. With the leaves off the trees it would be much easier to find more if there are more caves

Be careful in the upper cave/mine. The top inside it is getting bad and it gets sketchy.

Good to know. Haven't been in was thinking of a return trip but may hold off until I have someone to go with. Plenty of other places for Random Adventures . I just picked up an OSPREY AETHER 55 backpack for more overnight trips. Really enjoyed the hammock overnight in Centralia during the winter Snow Storm Izzy. Planning a few more stealth camping trips. Thanks for the comment 👍! Tony

Went back yesterday morning to try and find more. Someone said there are more that he went to in the 70's but thought they we since sealed. He sent me a picture of entrance but I walked all the way to the camping area from Sunbury and thinking I might have to wait until Fall when the leaves and vegetation is down.

@@randomadventures2.0 yes you were at the small entrance in the back of the cave or as we were told they had mined it way back,, but there is a large entrance heck maybe a few hundred feet away from there heading down stream so to speak it was quicker to get to it from the camping area but yeah October would be a better time for sure,,, when i was young we even dug out one of the old slave tunnels down by the penns creek railroad bridge loved that kind of stuff lol you have a good one!!!

@@randomadventures2.0 i am sure it is ,,the entrance is at the bottom of some large stone steps ,,we had to dig the area out to enter it because of flooding from the creek,, it went from the creek area up to a place that was a hotel at one time on water street,, in the cellar there is a entrance but they never let anyone in,,i know it does go from there to the governor snyder hotel but after the 72 flood the tunnels are cut off in places ,,,like the one from the creek just goes as far as the road now because the dug out the ditch there and put in new steel tunnels and ruined a historic site really

Wow that is really cool and also a shame that it has been destroyed over time. My wife and I were just talking about the underground railroad. Thanks for sharing.

Ahhhhh man...Had you walked around that rock face directly to your left, approx 20-25ft, you would have come to the actual entrance to that cave. Its HUGE inside. The ceiling gets up approx 20+ft at its peak. Hit me up if you ever wanna go back to film Part 2 😉
