I'm from Ljubuški and I gotta tell you man, you summarized it pretty well😂 It's true that people are quite camera-shy, but the lifestyle in general is also quite different. I don't know where you come from but basically you can't expect much, it's a country with low life standard and this is a very small town, smaller towns are usually like this here. Not much to offer but we do have some cool stuff, the food is great, the rivers are nice and the girls are pretty xD If I was there I would have walked you through some more stuff you haven't tried. Overall, you're right about most stuff, it is what it is, but some of it was also bad luck. It's not really a place for staying, although the hotel would be a better option.

Hello friend, just so you know, you came to the most beautiful city in the world⛪ and they stayed in the worst part of the city, it's not an apartment, it was a shed until recently. And that part where your apartment was is heavy shit. Ljubuški is not a city, but its surrounding villages, rivers, and towers of landmarks. It's a pity that there was no one to take you through Ljubuški and show you everything, you would have been delighted and believe me, you would have stayed much longer. And you came when it's 40° here. As far as money is concerned, of course he smuggles, so where did he get so many Mercedes 😉💪

It's a traditional smuggling area. Half of them work at customs, half are engaged in "trade". They "import and export" tax-free.

Then why the f u torture yourself and your family with bus rides. Ljubuski is 1 h 15 minutes from Split by highway. That what you walk around its just administrative center where people come if they must to pay the bills and such,thats not ljubuski.
