Nice information. But please get soil testing done. If loose you may need more. We went recently for 12 feet depth for G+3 because soil as loose.

3*3 4*4 5*5 are all wrong . DO NOT FOLLOW THUMB RULE. These depends on many factors like 1. Span between columns 2. Grade of concrete 3. Safe bearing capacity of soil 4. Density of soil 6. Angle of friction 5. Number of above floors. 6. Grade of steel. Many more. . . . I being structural Engineer . Its my duty to educate people. I personally recommend to people to Kindly get it design by any structural engineer.

Yes I made a soil test in when report came we were surprised that 30 years back it was a farm land , and soil had become lose hence the recommendation dept for 2 floor house was 12ft

@@keerthim2360 that depends on per hole each hole will be of 6000rs so for 30*40 site they will do 2 holes maximum so it will come to 12000rs...
