Hey - great video. I have been quite ill the last few months and watched alot of quilting tutorials from bed - I love yours because instructions are so clear and easy to follow, and without to much random chatting which isn't ideal if you arent feeling well. And you have had some really cool patterns. Thanks for keeping me engaged in quilting 😊

I wish your pattern showed fabric requirements per sizes. I have a fq bundle but no 10" packs. Very pretty quilt. I like the more traditional look of quilts of squares and odd 'embellishment' of a star block etc as you have shown.

I love this!! Im not familar with paper piecing...and wonder why does one use paper? And also if you were making 50 star blocks, do you use 50 pieces of paper?

Typically paper piecing is used to get really accurate blocks that you could not make traditionally. This star is a relatively simple FPP pattern. Sometimes you can fit more than one block on a printer page. In this case, it is one star per page.
