Finally a video that makes sense, I am left-handed and typically do everything backwards anyway and this is backwards to start with so I was beginning to question my sanity watching other videos, but this one makes the most sense. Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Sherri! I was almost in tears when I came to the part of the quilt I'm working on that requires paper-piecing. I used this method about seven years ago and I don't remember feeling that it was so beyond me. Kudos to you for explaining it SO well! I'm so relieved.

Thank you for this tutorial. It truly helped me to think about what side goes up! Oftentimes, free patterns, while greatly appreciated, lack the level of detail that a purchased pattern normally has, and I was stuck!

Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for a wonderful and very clear tutorial. I am shocked how much fabric waste there is. I can see that you would truly need to have the extra fabric waste to be able to guarantee the seams and everything is completely covered to be successful. Thanks. First paper piecing tutorial I have watched the entire tutorial. You kept me engaged and interested to watch 😀

I don't mind random scrap pieces left over. If they are small enough to throw out, then I keep them in a grocery bag and save them to use with/as stuffing for pillows or stuffed animals.
