I can’t recommend the Crave and Hex enough. The crave should be in everyone’s bag, best disc on the market. And the only way to describe the Hex is it’s magic. It just does magical things.

If you like the Shaman a faster version is the Element by Gateway. I had a Buzzz because everyone starts with a Buzzz, tried the Element and fell in love, kicked the Buzzz out of the bag. Like the Shaman the Element is a neutral point and shoot, hold any line thrown on, disc. Plus the Shaman and the Element feel very similar.

I tried putting with Some of the super soft Shamans for a while. They would literally bounce off the chains at least a couple of times per round. Started throwing them and they make awesome approach discs. Super straight and zero skip.

It would be a bunch more work for sure but I think adding footage of the discs being thrown in the field would really help this series

Followup video, show him throwing/testing these in the field, what makes the bag? I thought of a Hex as well, or a Kaxe Z is a lower speed fairway that could fill a similar spot

I have been working on replacing a buzz recently and have a few recommendations. If you want straight with just a touch of finish a gold line compass or an aura pathfinder are amazing. And if you want just a bit of flip up for that hyper release an opto claymore is money.

I love throwing disc that aren't popular, so I bag 3 Destroyers, 2 Wraiths, a Firebird, Teebird, and a Buzzz, lol

If Konner wants to try some underrated and uncommon Buzzz type mids he should try a DGA Rift (like a slimmer, slightly flippier Buzzz) or an Aurora MS/Infinite Chariot (same disc) which flies like that perfectly seasoned Roc off the shelf. Super fun mids.

I don’t like the Buzzz, and I would recommend a Mint Mustang. Being with Foundation, you might have tried this one, but check it out. Similar Buzzz shape, but feels better to me with a really nice flight.

What do you consider the cutoff speed between a fairway and a distance driver? Because I have been throwing the Mantis, which is an 8 speed, for like two years now and just realized it says distance driver on it…

The Stingray used to be a driver too lol. As the technology has evolved, the 6,7,8 speeds are generally the fairway class, the 9 and 10 speeds are considered "control" drivers and 11+ are the distance drivers now.
