Serotonin is in general released when someone is happy, triggered by things such as seeing someone else smile or hearing someone laugh.

The quality of mario party games I feel has been decreasing over time. 9 had the car thing, people didn't like it, so nintendo was like "let's do it again!" Super mario party only has 4 maps, and this is the only update for the game since launch. And, as far as I know, it only added the online, which realistically should have been there to begin with.

@@geoman265. Yeah, I'd kept hoping they'd patch in more maps, even as paid DLC -- but the game was practically abandonware up until now.

On the one hand, probably harder to do during the pandemic. On the other hand, IT SHOULD'VE BEEN IN THE GAME IN THE BEGINNING.

@@BrightBlueInk I wouldn't think that adding online would be too difficult during the pandemic (still would be harder to do, but not impossible), although they literally only added online in the update (afaik).

i have to ask as someone who haven't played mario paty in over a decade: is that normal for these games? only 2 bonus stars at seemingly random catagories? didn't earlier games have much more bonus stars and in more predictable catagories? or was it always a shitshow that undermines the entire game?

@@theguyyouhate Eh, I'd say 50/50 between semi predictable bonus stars you can play at and absolutely random shitshow but as far as I can remember it was always somewhere between 1-3 bonus stars

@@theguyyouhate So to give you the scoop of what you missed in the past decade, MP9 for the Wii kinda ruined the series by changing it completely and all the games for the Wii U and 3DS followed this trend of boring games. Super Mario Party (Basically MP11) is the newest game and had brought it back to the normal Mario Party formula that you see here. Going back to your question now, in all the games up to 7 there were three of the same bonus stars. 7 introduced having more then three bonus stars so you wouldn't know what you were getting with SMP following this (Although in games with 20 or less rounds only has two bonus stars while more then 20 will let you get three.) Btw don't question why I know this, a lot of Mario Party Netplay on Discord 🤣

I like how the game just decided that the worst player had won for literally no other reason than that they were the worst player.
