How I like to approach writing licks is attempt to bend like Albert King lol, but also take inspiration from cool sounds I hear especially movie and gaming soundtracks and put a bluesy flare to them

Hi Andy, great video! What are you thoughts on learning the CAGED system? Your playing is melodic and it seems everything you need is within the scale.I have been using chord tones and arpeggios along with the pentatonics and I just wonder what benefit the CAGED would have? Thanks.
