I agree. I've been following them for 43 yrs, and this was their most exciting season wrap-up/post-season they've ever had!! The 2022 team suddenly clicked on *all* cylinders just at the right time, and every facet of their game ( their inconsistent offense, shaky starting pitching over the years, and lately an awful defensive team ) came together and starting doing literally every single thing right--not usually the Phillies way of playing baseball, but wow, what an awesome post-season it became. It's too bad we lost the WS, but I hope that is one post-season I never forget...

Three more now. Altuve and Verlander continue to struggle. Verlander blows 5-0 lead. And Altuve seems to be happy win a lucky single late in the game. Almost caught stealing.

Yup. He was out. I've argued why have replay if you can't get the call right. Too close to overturn my but, it was clear in a photo the tag was there. Get more cameras. lol

Imagine being a Houston Astros fan helping this team get into the playoffs and now I'm going against this team in the world series watching this unfold in front of your eyes?? That’s acting like the Phillies are a vastly inferior team to the Astros, the Phillies record is incredibly deceiving, if Thomson had been the manager all year, their winning percentage is likely around .590 or .600

I can't stop crying watching them celebrate. This team wanted it. They were a group of guys who loved each other. They deserved so much more. I remember the 1993 team as an 11 year old boy thinking it can't get any more special... then the 2006-2011 team and I knew that would be my all time favorite... but no... it's DEFINITELY, hands down these guys. It's not even close for me.

Yea... be proud of the team that launched their success on the back of cheating and then did exactly what was expected of them this year as opposed to the team who improbably stuck together and defied EVERYONE coming up 2 games short. I laugh because you got to watch this video and experience all the pure joy incapsulated inside. It's a shame you can't find that sort of happiness in your own life.

Yea... and we swept the favorite Cardinals, the defending champion Braves in 5, the Padres who beat a 111 win Dodgers team in 5 and was up 2-1 against the cheating Astros. Pretty surreal huh?
